I live in the area but needed a hotel for one night. Overall nice, very clean. The beds are on metal... boxsprings? So it does creak a lot in a weird way. But the situation of the hotel is good for a highway so it extends back from the street and isn't too noisy.

Now this is a story all about how
My hotel stay got flipped turned upside down
And I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there
I’ll tell you ‘bout a Best Western nightmare in Maple Ridge, yeah
We rolled up late, just tryna check in
But the vibe felt off before we stepped in
Ambulance lights flashin’, stretcher rollin’ by
Front desk lookin’ clueless, didn’t even try
Then a cop car pulled up, dropped a dude at the door
I’m like “what kinda place did we just pay for?”
But we stayed anyway, thought “how bad could it be?”
Man, that room told a whole different story
Dust in the corners, silverfish on patrol
Bed squeakin’ loud like it got a soul
Every little movement sounded like a scene
Like the mattress was rappin’ its own bad dream
Outside looked shady, deals goin’ down
People movin’ funny all around the town
I’m peekin’ through the curtain like “this ain’t right”
Tryna sleep but the vibe kept me up all night
Then boom—2:30, alarm goin’ wild
Heart racin’ fast like a scared little child
Someone left the microwave cookin’ too long
Smoked out the whole place, what is goin’ on?
We outside waitin’, half asleep, half froze
In pajamas, standin’ with a bunch of strangers and woes
Nearly an hour just stuck in the cold
Thinkin’ “this story’s gonna need to be told”
So if you ever think “cheap stay, what’s the risk?”
Just remember this tale and don’t dismiss
Sometimes the price ain’t worth the scene
When your night turns into a full bad dream
We booked for a Monday night. Check in was friendly and fast. We got a 1st floor room near the end of the hall. The blackout blinds were great. The arms on the desk chair were wobbly. The beds were very good. The tub/toilet room was bare minimum size, as was the outer small sink area. The room was OK, but not great.
Breakfast is 0630-0930. We ate at 0830. The hot items were egg bites, sausages and potato hash brown chunks. There were only three egg bites in the warming pan. Sadly all hot items were very dry and not very good. The waffle batter dispenser also didn't work. There were other items like cereal, toast, etc that looked OK.
Overall an OK hotel, but it doesn't really hit the mark. We probably won't stay again.

Stayed for a sports competition nearby in Maple Ridge. Prices were jacked up and well above what this level of hotel should cost. When house keeping came they just threw blankets on the bed, didn't bother to make the bed or empty the garbage cans. There was food splatter on the wall above the TV area. The closet area had boogers on the wall. There were unfinished patch marks around the room and missing base boards and black mold around the window. And there was a large gap under the main door. Would not stay here again.

Without looking to close it appears alright but then you start noticing it's lipstick on a run down building. Exposed wiring in the hallways, broken blinds in the rooms, bugs in the bathtub, pool was rather dirty and smelled bad. Worst of all when clearing the room for the kids stuff at the end of the stay there was a small bag of white crystal looks to be drugs under the bed. Reaching out to the hotel they had no remedy or care for our issues found. Management dismissed our concerns completely. This is very dangerous for the kids and animals staying in this hotel.
