    Only reason I didn’t give it 5 is because the pool and hot tub were absolutely filthy mercy water and the water in the hot tub was yellow.

    We had to come into town very last minute to pick my father up from the hospital as he was flown into Kelowna. The room itself was clean and very large. Sadly the hot tub jets didn't work and the water was filthy and warm at best not hot. My mother left her jacket in the room when we checked out as well as I did not get my $100 deductible back. I have been in contact with costumer service for the last few days and they keep saying they "can't find my booking". I booked with booking.com and have given them all the info off of my reservation and they still say they can't find proof... As if we didn't even stay there?!? Unfortunately we were not there for a holiday and dealing with this on top of everything else has been very disappointing. I would not stay here again after this experience. Not worth the money and feels like a scam that they can't even find my name or reservation... Not impressed at all. If you are dealing with family in the hospital save yourself the stress and do not stay here.

    Stay here! No need to read further, except for tips. Tip 1: Pet friendly rooms are in low-rise with patio facing garden courtyard. Even if you don’t have a pet, see if you can get in the inward facing patio rooms. There are 2nd floor inward an outward rooms, and tower rooms too. We didn’t experience those. Tip 2: The wide grass courtyard is big enough to throw or kick a ball, or simply enjoy the green view with large birch tree from your patio with two chairs and side table. You can walk across to the outdoor gate of the (indoor) pool, We just left the patio door closed but not locked while we went over Tip 3: Definitely partake in the 97 street pub. This pub/restaurant should be a destination in itself, and as a hotel guest, you get a discount. Tip 4: The breakfast is top-notch for an included meal. Continental items, or hot meal, folded cheese omelets, bacon, toast or bagels, and a cool automated pancake machine. And dark roast coffee!

    Have stayed here many times, this 3 day stay in the king tower was less pleasant. Carpet could be much cleaner. Microwave was left in a closet. Wifi signal was poor. Netflix and Youtube could not load and the free breakfast had us going to pur and simple for a good one. Staff have always been great. Will stay somewhere else next time.

    Not impressed with fridge. About the size of a microwave (half as tall as the usual bar fridge in most hotels). Upon arrival checked the fridge. Just cool and needed it colder due to very expensive medication that required a colder temperature. Maintenance person came and checked the fridge and checked if they had a spare. No spare….. for such a huge, huge hotel complex?? Really ?? I asked if they could swap out the fridge with another room. Was told by the front desk they were totally booked and could not do that. Was told they could store the medication for us….nope not letting it out of our sight or control. Filled the fridge with bags of ice which worked. The next morning after breakfast I was by the front desk and somebody was checking in around 10 a.m. so basically was lied to that they were full and could not swap out the fridge. Another morning, one of three ladies at the front desk said she had errands to run so would be in and out but if they needed her for something they could contact her. She said this three times… flaunting her authority ?? Sounded like she was the “person in charge” but it left me feeling like if one of them had an urgent errand she would not allow it. Poor attitude. Another guest who had checked out came in asking if someone had turned in a pair of swim goggles as his son had lost his. Again , this “person in charge” said they asked the person who cleaned their room and she did not find them. He was not pleased and asked if they show up to phone him. I am “guessing” an expensive pair of goggles. After he left another young woman behind the counter said …didn’t someone find a pair of goggles in the pool change room? Person in charge said well the cleaner checked her cart and did not find them in their room….End of story for her !? Not bothering to check the lost and found from the pool area ?? She did not go out of her way with our fridge issue or the goggle issue. Our room had plastic tags all over the bathroom floor. The clear/white tags that are from new clothes so not swept up as a vacuum would not pick these up. Had a laundry facility…two washers and two dryers. One dryer sounded like a tractor and all four appliances should be updated. Not impressed with this so called amenity. Uses toonies. Free breakfast was good but the cost per night it should be good ! Bed was comfortable. Very expensive hotel but lacking in some areas…like a decent fridge and no microwave so if you have the need of a fridge that will actually keep items cold or a microwave to heat food for young kids ask about these amenities before booking.
