  We had an amazing stay! Manager Edwin was stellar and treated us very well. He went above and beyond to help us with a mixup where we had to change rooms. Even if everything we want to do is in downtown Vancouver, we always stay here. The free breakfast, the service, and it being close to so many stores makes us come back again and again.

  Friendly staff, especially the gentleman who worked the front desk in the mornings. We forgot to get his name but his customer service was exceptional. We stay here every year for the convenience of location to the water park and zoo and are never disappointed. Any concerns were addressed immediately, and we always feel the warm welcome when we arrive. We will be back again next year.

  total scam. I made an honest mistake with the reservation date on a booking website and reached out immediately to fix it. The hotel completely refused to change the date and refused to issue a refund. They tried to blame the booking website's policy, but it is entirely the hotel's own rigid, greedy policy. The manager is completely uncooperative and running a scam. I lost $300 for a room I couldn't even use. Avoid this place at all costs, they will happily take your money and offer zero customer service.

  I would definitely not recommend this hotel. The room had a very unpleasant smell as soon as we entered, and the odor seemed to be throughout the entire hotel. The carpet was dirty, and the fridge smelled absolutely disgusting, making it unusable. The bathroom was also disappointing, as the toilet flush was not working properly. The only positive was the pool area, which was clean and enjoyable. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for the poor cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay, and I would not choose to stay here again.

  First and foremost, the location is spectacular, the rooms are wonderful, the pool is wonderful. We have stayed here multiple times, and keep coming back, preferring to stay at this location even when doing more activities downtown. But most importantly, this trip, they have gone above and beyond. We had a rather complex unexpected personal issue arise part way thru our stay. The front desk manager, Edwin James, was incredibly personable and bent over backwards to help us find a solution.
