Der Steinmetzbetrieb STEIN JANDL wurde im Jahr 1948 von dem akademischen Bildhauer Franz Jandl in Großpetersdorf gegründet.
Im Jahr 1972 übersiedelte der Betrieb aus Platzgründen nach Oberwart und wurde vom Sohn, Ing. Alfred Jandl, übernommen.
Mittlerweile besteht das traditionsreiche Familienunternehmen in der dritten Generation und wird von David Jandl mit seinem Vater Alfred geführt.
