  My stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Rock Springs – Green River was excellent. The hotel was extremely clean, the fitness room and jacuzzi were available 24 hours, and the breakfast was very complete and delicious. The room was spacious, the bathroom was great, and the housekeeping staff was truly impeccable. I’m very happy with my stay — definitely one of the best hotels I’ve visited on this trip.

  This location on this date--Wednesday April 8, 2026-- is undergoing renovation, however we never were awakened by any construction noise. The front desk and door is temporarily moved and there is only 1 elevator in use. The room was clean. With shampoo etc provided in bathroom. The air conditioner is limited to 65 degrees. The fan can Not be turned on to run continuously even though it says it can. It's probably on a temporary hiatus. I feel they did as good as they could under the circumstances for breakfast and when renovation is done, they can offer more. Still, there is sufficient breakfast. There are 3 available carts for taking stuff to rooms. The pool and hot tub were super nice and indoor. Also there's exercise room. The staff were super friendly!

  Read this before you book. I would strongly advise anyone to double check before booking here or better yet, book somewhere else. I accidentally booked this hotel while trying to reserve a stay in New Mexico, and within 5 minutes of making the reservation, I called to cancel. I was told directly by a staff member that the cancellation would be processed and that any fees would be waived. Fast forward a week later…no refund. After following up, I was met with zero accountability. The owner, Lisa, showed no willingness to resolve the situation, despite the fact that I never stayed at the property and contacted them immediately after booking. This isn’t about policy it’s about basic customer service and integrity. When a business tells a customer something will be handled, they should stand by it. Instead, I’m now out $130 for a stay that never happened. If something goes wrong with your booking, don’t expect understanding or flexibility here. That alone should be enough to make you think twice.
