  We actually messed up or reservation dates and they were able to accommodate our same reservation with minimal increase in price point (originally booked for a Tuesday check in, when I needed a Saturday check in). Friendly and efficient staff and clean rooms.

  This is not a place you would go out of your way to find or stay at, as it’s an out-of-the-way kind of town. We were traveling back home from Reno, NV to Colorado and decided to stay here last night due to a bad snowstorm. First of all, the front desk employee, Mary, is an outstanding professional. Our room (107) had heater issues, so my husband went to get her. She immediately came to our room with a “how can I help?” attitude and even brought an extra room key (109) to accommodate our stay. She was very busy with many guests—likely because of the snowstorm and the high number of travelers—but her service was excellent. (5 stars) Both rooms, 107 and 109, were clean and very well organized. Lastly, the breakfast was well worth the money. We paid around $160 for a family of four and two dogs, and the breakfast attendant was also professional, friendly, and respectful. My only suggestion is to please put out a tip jar for the breakfast cook/server. That would be a great gesture for them at the end of a long, hard day. I would stay here again if we drive this way and would strongly recommend this place to others. Because of the location (not very attractive), I would rate this as a 4-star hotel—but the service deserves 6 stars. Great job, everyone!!
