The person at check in was very friendly, didn't have a reservation, but efficient check in and added to my BW account. The room was very musty when I stepped in, but after running AC, it was "all good". It was an older BW, but I loved that all spread out and no stairs! Every room was ground level! So parked out front, unloaded, and moving a cat, so much easier to unload everything. They had a fridge with a freezer, so was able to freeze my ice packs for next day travel, which was a great plus! I did a room check with my blacklight for bedbugs and other icky stuff and it passed with flying colors! All clean and well kept for such an older hotel. The handle in the shower was very loose and cheap (they must have just upgraded the bathrooms) but after fiddling with it for awhile, I was able to balance hot water and cold. The bathroom was very small but again, was fine for my stay. Had plenty of plugs near the bed for plugging in my charging cords. Two plugs per lamp, that was perfect for me. Don't like having to plug in a phone and my watch across the room at night. For the breakfast, sausage, eggs, potatoes, and fresh fruit, etc. I loved the fresh fruit of strawberries and blueberries, also there was other fruit. It was very well laid out and you ordered your toast and drinks as it was in a restaurant setting. Very impressed with the friendliness of staff and the ability to order toast. Didn't have to wait, they had it out immediately with butter and jelly. Didn't order a drink, ordered water but, of course, others were ordering coffee, tea, juice, etc. I may have been able to order more but needed to get on the road. The staff immediately said can I give you a to-go container for taking it on the road with you. PERFECT and off I went! Would definitely stay here again! Close to a very cute town and they were having celtic festival. If this was not such a quick trip, would have explored more. I really like the little town down the street from the hotel with a cute park.
