- HLHeatherly Stevens, LCSW4 days ago5.0Martin’s Cove – A Peaceful Hidden Gem I had the place all to myself (besides the incredibly gracious missionaries who showed me around and shared powerful stories from the past). It was wonderful, but the museum truly touched my heart—artifacts from around the world, plus incredible pieces from the Sun family that owned the land and the Native Americans in the area. I’ve never seen a bigger collection of arrowheads or such beautiful Native and European clothing and dishes. I even got to pick up a heavy cash box that once traveled on a stagecoach—I’d only read about it in my ancestor’s journals from the early 1800s, but holding it was an entirely different, emotional experience. So moving and unforgettable! ❤️
