- P7PH 735Dec 29, 20254.0Convenient on off highway. Place was remodeling when we stayed.Room was clean. Maid even left cleaning supplies in the room. Bed a bit harder than I like and no fluff to pillows. Our room layout was very cramped to enter. Walkway to bed restricted by oversized counter and entry wall. Any narrower would require turn to side step through. Showers had good hot water and nice shower head. The bathroom doesn't appear to have any ventilation exhausting the air. Mirror will be fogged after shower and odors linger for a time. No free breakfast. There is a restaurant in the motel. Restaurant breakfast prices are competitive, but next time I would go down the street, less expensive, more offerings and better. Not many options in this area, which I guess allows the ridiculous high rate There is more than ample parking , large lot only 14 cars this weekend.

The toilet did not flush properly, had to flush it many times and there would be toilet paper left in the bowl. Secondly, the website said NOTHING about being charged for parking our car, which they charged $3.00 per day, that is uncalled for,like REALLY??? We did not find out about these charges until we check out. This is totally ridiculous!!! Especially in Weirton, W.V. We have stayed at many hotels and NEVER PAID for parking our car...NEVER!!! And some of the hotels were the Holiday Inns. Headquarter people, you better check and see what YOUR hotels are doing!! The staff all were Wonderful! All were very friendly and pleasant and helpful, if it was not for them, no one would want to stay there, I give them a lot of credit. Felt very sorry for the lady that checked us out, because she had to hear my wraith. We did tell her we were sorry and we knew it was not her fault. The next time we go to Weirton, it WILL NOT BE YOUR HOTELS!!!!!
