My stay was just fine for 1 night,
Thou after a long day of traveling, a pool and jacuzzi would have been nice, but not available due to repairs.

We have consistently used this hotel as our stopover for decades when traveling for vacations to the south from Ohio. We stayed going and coming from Myrtle Beach this year Oct 2025. There have been
upgrades to the hotel in recent years, it was beginning to be "dated". Small indoor pool and hot tub is available.
The manager(I beleive) was on-site both stays , and talked with guests.
The female clerks at check in were outstanding. The breakfast offered has been improved significantly. Since we are IHG members,We were welcomed with water and mints, cookies available too.
This time one of our stays was paid, the other was using points, we received the same great service either way.
The only hitch was they were having elevator problem, so we did have to use steps on first leg of trip, but were offered help getting our luggage to room. We were able to get first floor on second leg of stay. The manager apologized for the inconvenience and said he was actively working on getting the parts need for repair. That's really all you can ask.
Nothing fancy , a reliable stopover when traveling. Plenty of surrounding restaurants, fast food , and gas available nearby.

Requested a room on an upper floor, they gave me first floor. The blinds on the window had a brown coloring on the bottom. The air conditioner was all cracked and made a rattling noise every time it turned on. The toilet lid was not on correctly and every time you say down it sounded like it was going to fall off. The thermostat on the wall was not connected to the window unit very disappointed in this hotel. It was our stop whenever we went south.

The hotel was cozy and also conveniently right off the interstate. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. The elevator has been down but the manager spoke with me about it and continued to apologize. He was kind and courteous anytime I saw him. You can tell the staff enjoys their job. The outside sitting area is nice & quiet. Breakfast is good, coffee is hot. Nice little stay!
