  Right in the heart of downtown Morgantown, this hotel is a wonderful mix of modern and vintage. The folks at Wyndham have managed to mix both aesthetics to create something very unique. The exterior is much as it was when the hotel was built, and when you walk in, you get the feel of a much older and very upscale hotel. The rooms are large, and very modern. The staff is friendly and helpful, the restaurant has excellent food , and the bar is well stocked. We were only here for one night, but we spent a very pleasant one here. Thanks to the Hotel Morgan for a lovely stay during a difficult time.

  I have stayed at the Hotel Morgan at least 5 times over the last few years and every single time it has gone downhill. The first time I stayed and I loved the room. The bathroom and shower were magnificent and quite clean and lovely. The shower is the only reason I kept coming back. The location and service was also spectacular. However, all these good things have been dropping like flies. My final straw this last time was the shower not cleaned at all and the toilet being clogged upon check in. When reported to the staff their response was 'yeah it happens all the time on the 6th floor, well just move you to another room' which is all fine and dandy but she then proceeded to move me to another 6th floor room, so if you know that floor is experiencing problems why would you leave me there ???? Not only that, but the new blonde lady at the counter was condescending and made the whole check in process feel like an inconvenience. For example, it was cold in my room so I turned on the heater and it started smoke and set the fire alarm off. I went downstairs and explained hey, I turned off the fire alarm bc the heating unit started smoking and I didn't want the fire dept to show up. She looked at me like I was crazy and said yeah well we turned our heat off and it's bc of the dust. Ok queen... I suppose I'll just not have heat in my room tonight ?? And I didn't. I froze to death and barely got any sleep all night. I won't even get into all the bugs i found flying around. Genuinely not worth my time or my money anymore. A morbid stay. This will be the SECOND time I checked out early bc it just wasn't worth it.

  Visiting WVU and stayed the night before a campus event. Great location short walk to Wharf restaurants and Student Union. Super nice staff and friendly bar and valets. Big clean room for myself and son. Perfect stop for a college visit. TY

  Was here for a conference in Morgantown and the staff treated me so well. I had to leave my luggage a little longer after check out before my flight and they were happy to accommodate. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet. Highly recommend!

  Solid enough. Fairly priced. Plan for an additional valet expense of $25. Maybe some sub perfect communication about how to get the car handled. Car gets parked uncovered. Some might prefer to use a nearby garage instead. The exterior and lobby presentation is excellent. The rooms fall short of that. Smelled like paint and sweat. Some stains, debris and hair in the linens; not sure if it was not cleaned or maybe the it came from the wash. Pretty bathroom, but... zero places to set anything down in the bathroom and no active ventilation. Room was hot and took a long time to cool. Valet guys reminded me of Nathan 4 you characters; not in a bad way, they were nice dudes. Can walk to anything you need from here because the location is perfect.
