  If this was a 1 star hotel I would definitely give it 5 stars but for $120 a night and $12 for the same breakfast buffet you can get for free at other places, I am beyond annoyed. They did not clean our room and nowhere is there a sign that they don't clean "for the environment." The air unit in the room could not be run because it sounded like a dump truck rolling through an airport. The water didn't get super hot. The pillows were nice and they have free lobby coffee and water.

  Overall quiet please with the quality of the hotel and the room. We stayed in a king room with the jetted tub. Definitely a great space and we were pleasantly surprised that the hotel left beautifully cut roses, a box of chocolates, a bottle of champagne, and a voucher for the restaurant inside. Since I wasn’t expecting all that in my booking, I decided to call the front desk to make sure this was intended for us even though our room number was referenced on the envelope of the restaurant voucher. Unfortunately, it was discovered that the guest staying before us the previous night never checked in and these items where purchased by them. As the room was not stayed in, housekeeping did not remove the gifts from the room. The receptionist said she would check in her manager to see if we would be able to keep them or not. Next thing we know, house keeping is knocking on our door and joined by the receptionist. She states that hotel management told them to take the gifts back. I get that the items weren’t originally intended for us, but that definitely left a bad taste in my mouth since I thought I was being a decent person to notify them of the situation when most would have just kept there mouths shut.

  I once gave a place I reviewed an A-. Holiday Inn, in Martinsburg, West Virginia is another A- establishment, in my opinion. I was given a great deal on the hotel, being charged $95 a night. The hotel had a great view, a good workout room, and a heated pool. My bed was very comfortable as well. The location was great, to go along with these accommodations. I was within walking distance of several restaurants, and a convenience store. Two minor problems were my bathroom being small, and the bathtub faucet leaking water when I turned it off. Maintenance did make my faucet leak better, but they said they had to fix it for good when my stay was over. Because it would take time. Overall, I had a great time during my stay. Just those two minor problems.

  Whenever my wife and I need an extended stay in Martinsburg, we always come to the Holiday Inn on Foxcroft. We conaistently bring our two cats and it never ceases to astound me, the extent to which the staff at the hotel make us feel welcomed and at home. The entire team at the Holiday Inn. From the front desk staff, to the night crew, to the event planning staff are so nice and warm. The on-site bar and restaurant has very good food and a wide selection of drinks. This Hotel has to be one of the best hotels in the area. Its price is also very reasonable for the amentities they offer. Which include an in-door swiming pool (year-round) and a decently equipped gym. Note: The front desk staff keeps deoderant, and shaving cream and razors at the front desk, free of charge for all guests. This is truly an amazing hotel.

  Good room great price! They did offer room service although the dinner selection could have been a little bit bigger. Love the fact that the pool was open till 11:00 p.m. . Would definitely stay again
