The night manager was surprised and did everything he could to help by taking the trash and getting us clean towels. Next morning we spoke to the manager who informed us that it was our fault because we had the "do not disturb" sign on the door at 7am. Apparently she does a walk in the morning when she gets there and if the sign is up they don't clean. We slept in and the sign was taken down at 8am when we went out for the day...but they never bother to check again. No apology, no effort to try and correct it. The location of this hotel is excellent but since there is no competition nearby they have very little reason to offer any customer service.
