  There was a carnival going on 50 yards from my window that was so loud I couldn’t even hear the TV. Something was biting me while I was sleeping, and I woke up to find bedbugs. When I told the woman at the front desk about the bedbugs at checkout, she just said “sorry about that” and didn’t offer a refund. Also, a little bit of mold in the shower. Won’t be back.

  I stayed here because it was 5 min from the location I was going to. The front desk was not welcoming when we arrived. The bathroom looked like thy had tried cleaning it minutes before our arrival, there was hair on the floor, shower had mildew, toilet seat had cracked areas which could either cut someone or hold bodily fluids which is not only hazardous but also disgusting. We also found part of a protection wrapper on the floor by our bed. Breakfast was not good either. I really wish it would’ve been a better experience because I will be in the area more often.

  I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Elkins, WV, and had a mixed experience. On the first night, I encountered issues with the lights not working in my room, and the DIRECTV box needed to be reset. Fortunately, the lights were fixed the next night. However, the DIRECTV issue persisted, with a 771 signal code error preventing me from watching TV. Despite these technical issues, I was pleased with the cleanliness of my room and the breakfast offerings. The food was good, and the eating area was clean and well-maintained. The hotel's amenities, such as the indoor pool and fitness center, were also a plus. *Pros:* - *Cleanliness*: Room was clean and well-maintained - *Breakfast*: Good food and clean eating area - *Comfortable Bed*Had a good night’s sleep. *Cons:* -*Doors Slam Shut* - *Technical Issues*: Lighting and DIRECTV problems in the room Overall, while my stay was marred by some technical issues, the hotel's cleanliness and breakfast offerings were highlights. With some improvements in their technical services, this hotel could provide a more enjoyable experience for guests.

  The room was nice, as well as clean. We asked for a cot for our 3rd person, which the staff was accommodating and got us one. However, no part of the room was actually wide enough to fit the cot unfolded, and the furniture could not be moved to make space, so we couldn't actually use it. This was not the staff's fault at all, as they were helpful and friendly. And the breakfast included was actually a nice selection!
