    I was a guest there not long ago, maybe 2 weeks. This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at, and I stay in a lot of hotels, mostly Hampton. The front desk is fantastic. I met Roxie, Trena, Andrew and Katie at the front desk. Hampton is darn lucky to have these 4 people. They all make their guests feel like family and close friends. That Roxie, what a sense of humor. She cracked me up 🤣🤣🤣. She’s all the time smiling and laughing. Well, not just Roxie, but the whole front desk and entire staff. Front desk staff have great personalities and are the best staff I’ve ever encountered in a Hampton. It’s a very clean hotel too. The housekeeping staff, top notch. They work their behinds off. They too, are very friendly and funny. Maintenance guys are great. Very helpful with no attitude like most youngens these days. They were great! Then there is Kristine. She works breakfast. She is just a sweetheart. That smile and those beautiful kind eyes. Wonderful personality and sense of humor. Management has changed hasn’t it? Last time I was there the manager was a tall woman. Not real friendly at all. In fact, the staff seemed,,,stressed is the only word I can think of. When I was in a couple weeks ago this manager was very sweet. Great personality and smile. Goes all out for her guests and for her employees. The staff was most definitely at ease, happy and cheerful. Has to be because of your manager, Christina Jenkins. I don’t know what else it could be. Whenever I’m in this area I will always stay at the Hampton inn, in Bridgeport. Corporate, you guys a great bunch of people working for you. You best treat them right. They are top notch! Thank you staff for your great service and sense of humor, laughs, kindness and all in all FANTASTIC SERVICE. Thank you very much!

    Absolutely wonderful hotel. We had a blast. The staff, front desk, Roxie, Trena and Katie. They are the front desk team I had the great pleasure in meeting. Housekeeping, another great pleasure in meeting. There was Amanda, Margarette, Ellamay, and Tyrell. There were more but I can’t think of them all, but all of them were fantastic. Breakfast person, Kristie. She is adorable. Great smile and kind eyes. She’s very efficient. The maintenance staff very friendly all meticulous in their work and service, as is all the staff I met. They all seem so happy and they have so much fun while providing their guests with excellent service. I happened to meet the manager, Christina Jenkins. She’s so little and cute lol. Beautiful eyes and eye brows I might add. She was a very pleasant and helpful person. Very knowledgeable too. Beautiful smile, and so very helpful. I can see why the staff runs so efficiently. When there is really great leadership from the manager the staff will follow suit. I will definitely tell my friends and family about your hotel. Me and my kids loved our stay. Thank you Hampton Inn staff in Bridgeport, WV for making our stay such a pleasure 😄

    Dudes! Anyone that complains about this hotel was NOT at THIS hotel, this place ROCKS OUT LOUD man. The staff, good grief they ROCK. Housekeeping asks how everything was and they talk to guests like they've been friends forever. They are meticulous with cleaning the rooms. The rooms are immaculate. The front desk staff is fantastic. Talk about friendly and senses of humor. OMG they are soooooo funny. I have gone in to check in lots of times all tired and just out of it man. Trena and Roxie, or Just Treana or just Roxie happened to be at the front desk. The have me laughing and forgetting all about my troubles. That Roxie, she's a hoot. Crazy funny sense of humor. The kind you have to scratch your head, deer-in-the-headlight look and say,,oooookay and then LMAO. Her and Trena remind me of the Marx brothers. I know there's 3 and Roxie and Trena are only 2 but who's counting baha lol. They aren't being like that because they feel it's their job. These 2 are like that because they love what they do. They play on each other and it's friggin' hilarious. They play off each other. The breakfast person, Kristie. She is a doll. Adorable smile and kind eyes. Her and Roxie joke around together too and they get guests LOL. I ALWAYS feel welcome when I go to The Hampton Inn, in Bridgeport. Now they are pet friendly which just adds to the rocking service I get, and many other guests receive as well from this Hampton. It sucks out loud when they are sold out and I can't get a room, grrrrr :-/. Ok guys, before I go let's get the "facts" out of EVERY hotel, including the 5 stars ones out in the open. We are all human, right? We all make our mistakes, right? There is NO WAY on God's green earth that EVERY single room in ANY hotel is never not satisfactory. Not every staff member is satisfactory. That is VIRTUALLY impossible! With that being said, corporate, managers, district managers, and anyone else reading this, including you people who LOVE to complain thinking you' will get a free room by being ugly. Fact! That's just the way it is guys. It is virtually impossible to have perfect service anywhere! With that being said, managers, district managers, and anyone else reading this, take the complaints with a grain of salt man. Fact of the matter is guys people would MUCH rather complain than compliment. I know darn well you guys can dig that! The public goes in any business expecting perfection. Ain't gonna happen man. I would say 99.9% of the complaints on this place and other public public businesses are SO blown out of proportion. The take mole hills mole hills and turns them into the friggin atom bomb man! It's obvious the employees dig working there. It's a well-oiled machine man. Now is the Hampton Inn, in Bridgeport, WV perfect? Of course not, and a feller is stupid expecting perfection walking in the door, but it's as close to perfection as you can get and that is a fact!
