  Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good low budget choice for a nights sleep. Outlets where you need them. Decent water pressure.

  We stayed at this hotel on Jan 16 and checked out the morning of Jan 17 after breakfast. Unfortunately, we accidentally left my husband’s pajama set (both the top and bottom) in the room. We realized shortly after leaving and have called multiple times about the lost item. Each time, we were routed to different phone numbers or told someone would call us back, but we never received any follow-up. We also know housekeeping had entered the room right after we left, yet there has been no record of our item in lost and found. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service regarding a simple lost item inquiry.

  I stayed at Tru by Hilton in Wisconsin Dells and had a really great experience. Before I arrived, Juan texted to welcome me and asked if there was anything I needed. I know a lot of hotels send messages like that, but this wasn’t one of those generic check-ins. He meant it. I travel a lot and I know Hilton properties well. The pillows are typically very soft and not supportive. When I’m driving, I’ll sometimes bring my own firm support pillow — but this time I didn’t have one with me. So I messaged him and explained the situation. He told me, “When you get here, check the pillows in your room to see if they’re the same kind you’re talking about, and we’ll work on a solution.” And that’s exactly what happened. When I got to the room, the pillows were the same soft, non-supportive kind I was concerned about. I let him know, and he didn’t hesitate. He went looking for firmer options. We talked through ideas — even discussed layering blankets for extra support. He said, “I’ll come up with a solution.” And he did. He didn’t just respond politely. He put in the effort. He followed through. Being able to sleep comfortably isn’t a small detail — it can completely change your stay. The level of care and problem-solving he showed felt like the kind of service you expect from a higher-end Hilton property, not what people might assume from a more affordable brand. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and welcoming. The lobby and common areas were bright and comfortable. But what truly stood out was the intentional service and follow-through. That kind of attention makes a difference.

  Have been here a couple o times within the last year and it is great! Clean and modern rooms, nice walk in showers, heat and AC as well in the rooms. Solid breakfast options and access to their pool and gym! Not to mention right down the street from Kalahari Resort and other attractions!

  Had a great stay at Tru by Hilton. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming from check-in to checkout, which always makes a big difference. The rooms were super clean, modern, and well kept, making it easy to relax and feel comfortable.
