- STsara thayerNov 28, 20252.0When you reserve a room and ask the attendant for the nicest suite they have and arrive to a filthy room it's pretty upsetting. Almost $500 for 2 nights and the room hadn't been cleaned, vacuumed or mopped. There was white crusty stuff in the fridge and on the floor by the garbage can. The toilet was not cleaned! We had to clean the Jacuzzi before we could use it, then after cleaning and filling and turning on the jets there were big black chunks floating around the tub. NASTY! Then we go to shower to get the filth off from the Jacuzzi and the shower just screamed a joud squeaking noise the whole time. The crusty towel folded up in my pillow case was a clear sign they don't change their pillow cases between stays. The room had a coffee pot but the coffee pods were expired and all the coffee pods in the hotel were expired as well, the manager was nice though and did bring some new ones to the hotel. It is pretty upsetting that instead of having nice photos of our stay I have a bunch of pictures of a nasty uncleaned room. They do provide breakfast which was ok, but while we were eating a guy walked through the lobby with his adorable Chihuahua and let me tell you why this is the biggest reason we will never stay here again. A while back we called to reserve 2 rooms however because of our Chihuahua we ended up staying down at the lodge because we were told that they don't have any pet friendly rooms.
