We welcome you to our brand-new Holiday Inn Express & Suites! Sauk City is proud to be the first incorporated City in the State of Wisconsin, and our hotel is within walking distance to the historic downtown. Here you will find unique shopping and dining options, in addition to some amazing scenery along the Wisconsin River. You will also enjoy how convenient it is to travel to Wisconsin’s Capitol in Madison, Wisconsin.
For our year-round recreation enthusiasts, you will want to explore the River Walk, which is part of the Great Sauk Trail that links Sauk City to Devil’s Lake State Park. In the Winter months our guests enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and tubing at Devil’s Head Ski Resort, which is only 15 minutes from our hotel. Over the summer months you will enjoy breathtaking views from the bluffs and nature in four State Parks in our backyard.
Sauk City is also home to Mueller Sports Medicine, Culver Franchising System, McFarlane Manufacturing Company, and Schwarz Insurance. The infamous and award-winning Wollersheim Winery, Distillery & Bistro is also just minutes from our hotel.

Missed not having a hot tub, but the beautiful hospitality made up for it. The biscuits gravy had excellent flavor and the biscuts were fresh♡
