  Good place to stay. We've stayed at this particular hotel twice now, and have stayed at other IHG hotels. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and not cramped. The hot breakfast has always been delicious.

  I was extremely satisfied with my last stay this past weekend. I’m a platinum IHG member and used points to book my stay. I’ve stayed at the hotel at least two other times and I’m always happy. If you are looking to book a hotel in Rice Lake, this is the place to stay. Clean, comfortable rooms with a great staff and a good breakfast.

  Staying here for a hockey tournament because Joe Carew said I had too. And boy was he right! Place is clean with a nice breakfast. Highly recommend.

  *Edit - We talked to corporate and the manager of this Holiday inn. The manager was great and she explained that they have had trouble with other hockey teams, who broke their elevator the last weekend. I still dont want to be judged by others actions but I understand. We all agreed there's a better way to handle things like how we were checked in and hopefully the guy at the front desk was checked. I would like to say we had a great rest of our time that weekend. There was an incident with very drunk hockey parents from another team and I want to tell them, WE CAN DO BETTER. Hockey families aren't the only people staying there. Don't ruin hotels for the rest of us! Watch and discipline your team. Thank you Holiday Inn, we are loyal members and plan to stay that way. As soon as we walked in We were bothered about why we were staying here. We were here for a sporting event and as soon as we said that, the front desk were grilling us with more questions, took out some other side contract, and wanted to know our kids' full names. We told pir kids that if they were approched by staff, to say "i dont talk to strangers" and to find an adult from our team. We are Platnium members and spend a lot of money here and i dont feel like we should have been treated like that. Reguardless if previous sports families have done undesirable things. In addition to this, we paid for the room months in advance, my husband had to get a new card do to it being compromised at walmart. So, we get up to our room and are bombarded with phone calls to our room and cells about the payment method and if we werent down in 10 min to fix it, hed deactivate our key. We told the guy at the desk we were coming down to fix the problem before we headed up, so wth. What we ended up doing was paying for the room AGAIN with our new card because the holiday inn app kept redirecting from the reciepts page. This was all in the first 10 min we walked in here. Im sure its going to be a lovely stay here for us and our families this weekend.
