From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that set the tone for my entire visit. The staff here truly goes above and beyond. Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about making my stay comfortable. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the front desk team was incredibly helpful with local recommendations. The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding that gave me some of the best sleep I’ve had at a hotel. Everything was modern and in excellent working order, from the air conditioning to the flat-screen TV. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like plenty of outlets for charging devices and good water pressure in the shower. The complimentary breakfast was a real highlight! There was a great variety of hot and cold options, all fresh and well-stocked throughout the morning. The breakfast area was clean and inviting, and it was the perfect way to fuel up before hitting the road. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Rice Lake to anyone visiting the area. Great value for the quality you receive!

About 30 mins to Rice lake, I called the hotel and explained we had a long drive with our littles. Asked if there was an available room ready for an early check in. Laurel was very accommodating pleasant and ensured our room was ready and helpful with quick efficient directions. Check In with Laurel was nice and pleasant quick. Our room key wasn’t magnetized properly, but house keeping let it, was nice as I was carrying all our bags and would have hated going back down with three littles and all of our bags. The room was nice; bed was a bit softer than I liked but the kids had no complaints. The pool and hot tub was great. My kids enjoyed the hot breakfast and I enjoyed the fresh ground coffee!!! In later afternoon I called down to front desk no answer… After supper, we came back to the hotel and I was looking for some assistance for a location of a potential water fountain somewhere to fill my tumbler for bed or to purchase water, said hello? Walked around to see if someone was around, no one was around sadly so we just went back up stairs. Check out was great.
