- CAChris AngelOct 29, 20255.0Great location. All hotels near six flags we well over $50 more a night. This hotel was 20 minutes away north so the drive was easy. The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was warm and delicious. They were also welcoming. Some hotels stare at you while getting breakfast, they made sure things were full and clean but did not hover over the area. We normally stay at the double tree in Pleasant Prairie for our family Xmas party but we will be going to this hotel instead. We didn’t use the pool or fitness center but they did look clean and nice.

This most recent visit will definitely make it so we try a different place next vacation. The pool is absolutely disgusting. There was green algae in it all over and there wasn't even a hint of chlorine smell. It's obvious it's not being cleaned and maintained properly. The breakfast in the morning is very good which is the only reason I did not give them one star. **Edit after the response from the owner**. I understand there shouldn't be a huge chlorine smell but there should be something. The pool was cold, dirty and algae was all over the place. Speaking of the algae, why didn't you address that in your response? Or is that normal as well? Again it was obvious the pool isn't being maintained as there should not be green algae showing up at all.
