  If I could put 0 I would. Tried to play on thier games and a guy "who doesnt need to say his name" told me I couldn't play because its past 10:30. Then has his "friend" sit down and start playing. The next day go to sit in the lobby and get told that "you're not allowed to sit here". When then asking for his mangers number he told us to "get out" when it's below freezing. Terrible Service.

  It's a fine place to stay, but it's an anti gun establishment. I won't return.

  We stayed one night. The pool was closed to be cleaned which was okay with us. The front desk gave us a great recommendation for dinner and the manager was very helpful. We were there for opening night of them having beer and wine available in the lobby. Will definitely stay there again if in Oshgosh

  We stayed here on 1/19/26. Coming from Michigan and heading to Rochester,MN for doctor appointments. Laying in bed watching TV and a bedbug crawled on my blanket. Needles to say I lost it! My husband and I were able to put it in a plastic bag and took it to the front desk. We were offered a room on the first floor. After driving for 10 hrs we agreed. I thought this morning we would have been offered some sort of compensation for this happening when checking out. Nope!

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Oshkosh in January 2026 for a short staycation so our 6-year-old son could enjoy the pool, and we could spend some time with family. We booked through the IHG website, which was easy, and the hotel itself was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, our experience with the staff was disappointing. My husband, our son, my sister, and I arrived to swim, and we had also invited my parents (our son’s grandparents, both in their 70s) to stop by before we had planned to go back to the room for pizza. My parents and sister live in Oshkosh, so they did not plan to spend the night in the hotel room. It was a Sunday evening, so the hotel was very quiet, and we were the only guests using the pool. A front desk employee (I believe his name was Kevin) first came in to tell us we could not have snacks or beverages at the table in the pool area. We understood the policy, although — we only had a container of Pringles, a plastic soda bottle, and our son’s water bottle. Shortly after, he returned to tell us that we had too many people in the pool area for our room because my parents were not registered guests. We told the gentleman that we would be happy to register my parents to our room, and he said that it was not allowed because there would be too many people to sleep in the room we reserved. Which again, my parents nor sister had any intention of sleeping in the room. Because the entire point of our visit was to let our son swim, my parents had to leave, and we couldn’t enjoy the evening as a family. While we respect that hotels have policies and rules, I wanted to share this as a heads-up for other families. We do winter staycations like this often in Oshkosh and we have stayed at several other hotels without any issues. At no point were there more than four people in the pool, the area was not crowded, and we were not being disruptive in any way.
