  As an IHG Platinum Elite member who travels frequently for work and books almost exclusively with IHG properties, I rarely encounter issues with reservations. I am a self-employed business owner and routinely secure weekly stays using a standard credit-card authorization form without any problems. Unfortunately, my recent experience with your staff member over the phone was extremely disappointing. Initially, she stated that providing the last four digits of the card would be sufficient. However, once I mentioned that two coworkers would also be staying (each responsible for booking and paying for their own rooms), her tone changed completely. She repeatedly insisted that I would need the physical card in hand to pay for three rooms and refused to listen while I clarified that each reservation was separate and individually paid. Instead of working toward a solution, she repeatedly implied that I was attempting to scam the property. That accusation was both unprofessional and inappropriate. As a result of this interaction, three week-long reservations were canceled. I redirected our business to a nearby Holiday Inn Express property instead. While the nightly rate there was slightly higher, the staff was courteous, professional, and far easier to work with. Customer service matters. Loyalty should matter too. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect either. 👎

  I stay here each week for three nights as I am working in the area. The hotel is consistently clean, check‑in is super easy, and the beds are very comfortable. I have stayed at many hotels in my time, and this one offers good prices, great service, and an excellent breakfast, which is so often just an afterthought elsewhere. Although I have a 25‑minute drive in the morning, it’s worth it.

  We were in town for a family event and decided last minute to stay in the area - and we found a gem! We had never stayed at an Avid property so we didn't know what to expect....but our experience was fantastic! This property was very clean and "fresh"! We commented many times that we've never stayed at a hotel where the lighting in the rooms was so bright! The service was fantastic....from the check-in right through to the checkout! We will definitely stay at this property again when we are in the area!

  I recommend the Avid Hotel in Oak Creek WI, as a best place to stay for business or vacation travel. The hotel is one of the best on my opinion. I am very picky about where I stay while traveling. I stay for 5 days and I did like how I was treated by the staff at all times. All the amenities were perfect. I definitely I would stay there again while visiting family nearby.
