- KMKate MartinNov 14, 20254.0There was confusion about a change we made ahead of time, it seems that the change was not communicated to staff so I had a couple of people knocking at the door, a couple of hours apart, thinking I was supposed to be checked out already. Rooms are very clean, and shout out to the staff member who takes care of the breakfast area. He does an excellent job, I have stayed here many times and each time he is there to keep things clean, tidy, and well stocked. I am disappointed, however, about avid's change to their their food offerings for breakfast, I preferred the grab and go options. Now they just have the stereotypical scrambled eggs, sausage, patties, and fried potatoes. The previous options really set them apart and were preferable. It seems to be a company-wide policy change because we stayed at an avid in Chicago and they had also changed their breakfast options. They're still advertising it as grab and go, but it would be difficult to transport the new items.... Overall though, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
