I go yearly for my works Christmas party. I love the unique designs of each room (the complementary drink at check in is nice too). For some of the smaller rooms they use the bathroom as a seperator, so when you enter you have your own sitting room, and a hallway that connects to the bathroom and a decently sized bedroom. Overall I have been going for a few years and have enjoyed each stay.

This is a great hotel, especially for art lovers. In addition to having nice rooms and good service, you can puruse small art gallriers on site. And it right across the street from the performing arts center, giving it a perfect location if you're in town for a show. It's also nice to stay here during Christmas time, because there's a gorgeous tree in the outer lobby of the building the hotel shares, and free ice skating across the street. Live music in the lobby lounge is another sweet touch for your stay.

Never valet your vehicle here! If you do, make sure you check it thoroughly right after. On the evening of December 19, 2025, I paid Saint Kate’s to valet my new Lexus SUV. I had recently purchased the vehicle; it was in pristine condition. I was on my way to The Nutcracker with my friend and her daughter. I estimate I parked my car around 7:10. I was aware of the time because the ballet will not allow entry within a certain timeframe of the show’s start. I even have a picture of us in our seats, time stamped 7:20. When we left the show, my car was waiting for us on the street. I thought this was odd as I usually ask the attendant to retrieve my vehicle, but it was chilly and we had a sleepy little girl in tow, so we hopped in and drove home. I should also mention I left a 100% tip. The next day, I noticed a large blemish on the front passenger side of my car: a crack in the bumper that had spidered and an actual piece near my headlight that had broken off and was missing entirely. I retraced every single place I drove that day and the days preceding; there is no physical way my vehicle could have sustained such damage without my knowledge. It had to have happened Friday evening, while I was at the ballet. I contacted Saint Kate’s and was told by the manager that they would investigate and I should plan to hear back by Monday or Tuesday. Monday evening, and I hadn’t heard back so I emailed after business hours, thinking I would hear back the next day. To my surprise, I received an email around 9 PM that same night, a clearly templated response: “Our Director of Security has reviewed the CCTV footage of the valet drive from Friday, 12/19/25, during the time your vehicle was in our possession. According to the footage, your vehicle was dropped off with our valet team at approximately 7:55 PM. The valet parked your vehicle in a space with no surrounding vehicles, and no other vehicle was parked adjacent to it during that time. At approximately 9:55 PM, another valet retrieved your vehicle, and you departed shortly thereafter. Throughout the entire period your vehicle was in our care, the footage confirms that no other vehicle was close enough to cause any damage. This has been verified by our security team. Based on these findings, we are unable to offer compensation at this time. Please feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions or would like further clarification.” The fact that my car was left unattended for a minimum of 45 minutes on a Friday night in the streets of downtown Milwaukee is beyond egregious. Since that transgression is rather significant, I have difficulty believing that my car was under constant surveillance, seeing as there are already 45 minutes of unaccounted time that we know of. In retrospect, I also wonder if that’s why they had it waiting for me on the street, so I wouldn’t see them drive up and potentially spot the damage. I have since requested this footage and asked to speak to the security supervisor; all of my follow-up attempts have been plainly ignored. I was hopeful that such a large and lauded institution as Saint Kate’s would take care of my vehicle or, at the very least, conduct an honest investigation and take accountability for their negligence, but apparently we’re going to do this the hard way. I never leave bad reviews (or really any reviews at all), but I feel compelled to save other people the time, money, and angst and warn about what I thought was a trusted institution. Again, unless you’re about to miss the ballet, save yourself the heartache and just park yourself.

If you’re looking for a hotel and bar experience that truly stands out, this place delivers on every level. From the moment you walk in, you feel a sense of warmth, style, and attention to detail that immediately sets the tone for an unforgettable stay. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between upscale and comfortable — elegant enough to impress, yet laid-back enough to make you feel right at home. Whether you’re visiting for business, a weekend escape, or simply a night out, this hotel and bar create the kind of environment that makes you want to stay longer than planned. One of the highlights of the entire experience is the bar — a beautifully designed space that feels both vibrant and inviting. The lighting, music, and energy all come together to create a setting where conversations flow easily and every drink feels like a moment worth savoring. But what truly elevates the bar to another level is the service, and that’s where Clay comes in. Clay is the kind of bartender every great bar wishes they had. He’s cool, personable, and incredibly skilled at what he does. Whether he’s crafting a signature cocktail, recommending a drink based on your mood, or simply striking up a friendly conversation, Clay has a natural ability to make everyone feel welcome. His knowledge of spirits and mixology is impressive, but his personality is what makes the difference — upbeat, attentive, and genuinely passionate about giving people a great experience. The hotel and bar together create something special, but Clay adds that extra spark that keeps guests coming back. If you want an exceptional night with top-tier service and unforgettable drinks, this is the place to be — and Clay is the bartender who makes it all even better. However Bubbles & Brunch was a complete disappointment. We waited over 30 minutes just to be seated, despite the restaurant being half empty the entire time. There was no explanation, no sense of urgency, and no effort to manage the seating efficiently. Once we finally sat down, it took another 15 minutes for our server to even acknowledge us—no greeting, no water, nothing. At that point, the experience already felt careless and unprofessional. Brunch should feel welcoming and enjoyable, not frustrating and ignored. Poor service like this ruins the entire atmosphere, regardless of the food. Unfortunately, this place missed the mark on basic hospitality, and we won’t be returning
