Absolutely horrible so we decided to turn around and leave. The cleaning guy for some reason manually locked the front door in front of us. Two guests walking out almost got trapped by the door. Then the door shut completely. We waved and knocked on the window for a good give minutes. The front desk lady stood right there completely disconnected from the physical world. Terrible service. I had to find a window closer to her and almost smashed the window to get her attention. Very rude and unprofessional when I finally asked her what was going on. She carried an attitude and played the typical "I don't know, not my problem" card.

The good will be short and sweet, customer service at the front desk was great. Main lobby looked very modern and high end but that aesthetic quickly ended once you start making your way to the room. The bad... to start the elevator's being right next to the pool made for a unpleasant entry to get to our room. as for the pool area it was nice and big however water was ice cold, the jacuzzi water was way lower then it should be and there was black mold all over the walls and ceiling in the pool room. The elevator seemed really old with some floor flex and creeks. also had a scent of raid spray every time we entered. Hallways leading to the room were tidy and cleaned but once again no modern aesthetic like the lobby just left us feeling like we were in a old run down hotel. Now the room... absolutely nothing like the pictures depict. i will only speak for our room (one bedroom suite) it was spacious but not spacious at the same time. the bed is really wedged in between 2 walls with barely any walking space, the sink is outside the bathroom which was just weird to me but i guess could make sense to some however the bathroom was tiny and there was no exhaust fan so anytime you shower you are left with a foggy mess once you get out and if you go number 2 whoever is in the room with you will be smelling it... the swing out mirror near the sink was barely hanging onto the wall, they only put 2 towels in the room for a 3 day 2 person stay and the towels were very rough as if they have been used for 10 years, there was black stains on the carpet, the couch was small and felt uncomfortable, old and dirty while sitting on it, the tv's are old and outdated, the bed was very hard and the pillows weren't much better. there was either brown mold or water marks on the ceiling in our room (probably due to no exhaust fan in the bathroom) overall the room just felt old, dirty and rundown... luckily we didn't spend much time in there. oh and the heat didn't work all that great. The breakfast.. to start it is not included which i booked through hotels.com and it said that it was. I won't blame crown plaza for that however the breakfast is $12 per person and although it is buffet style there is not much of a selection. Eggs were bland, bacon was paper thin, sausage was rubbery it all just seemed very budgeted. me and my girlfriend didn't finish what we had on our plate and didn't go up for seconds on anything and the following morning we decided to go to McDonalds down the block for breakfast instead. the dining area for breakfast was nice looking though and the coffee was good.. Final complaint.. it hasn't been fully resolved because i haven't received my refund yet but i was told a not was made and that a refund would show up in a couple days at the point of writing this it has been 4 days and still no refund issued. I was billed daily that i was there for no reason, one day $45 and the next day $88, i was informed by the nice lady at the front desk that it was a glitch in their system and i wasn't the only one that it happened to that weekend. Hopefully that gets resolved soon. Final words.. It's not a terrible hotel but not a great hotel either. customer service was great and it was a place to stay during our visit to Milwaukee. Next time we will stay at the Hilton express down the block like our trip we took last year. Some advice don't expect a clean and tidy hotel, wear shoes or slippers and socks when in the room and don't overspend for a suite. Bring your own pillows and extra blankets. Have a lot planned for your stay to keep yourself out of the room for as long as possible.

Well, I’ve never actually paid to stay at this hotel, but I’ve nonetheless managed to stay there on two decidedly memorable occasions. The beds were exquisitely comfortable, complete with equally comfortable pillows. Upon removal of my shoes, I was treated to a carpet free of debris and delightful, yippee! Howling at the moon, due to my fine accommodations and the newfound mirth they afforded my previously subdued senses and mental wellbeing, I left my child bride terrified and speechless at the conclusion. Turning my head to behold this suddenly wary, yet I prayed still coquettish girl I’d so recently been joined in holy matrimony to, I was at once dumbfounded by her pale countenance and the obvious fear I read in her twinkling eyes. “My precocious little Love, what troubles you so? Never have I seen such concern! Such undeniable terror! What, my dear one, has made this change come about?” “It’s just that … those wild animal sounds … the entirely otherworldly wails … could it be that I’ve wed a, a creature …” “Yes, go on…” “…of the night??? Lycanthropy, I believe it is called. I shudder to imagine … throughout our courtship it did seem rather odd that you would disappear on the evenings of the full moon and I was always quite curious, but I never actually thought…” “Thought what, child?!?! Speak what thy means to speak and hide it not further!” “Then it is true. I have entered into betrothal with what my father taught me was a murderous, fiendish abomination of the Devil’s bloodline. He told me the strange beast’s name as well. He called it … he said it was called …” “Say it! You have guessed correctly what it is that I am. What it is that I shall on nights when the moon glows brightest ALWAYS be! So if you know the name of those of my ilk, I’d have you say it. For it would please me a great deal to hear it emanate from your sweet, ruby lips…” “My liege, if it would please you, I will speak it. Though I must confess that my fear has grown so that my heart may pop out of my chest if I don’t find some manner to calm it. My hirsute Love, I lay my neck, my bosom, my entire being bare to you as now I shall speak your name. It is … Werewolf!” I tried then to repress what I knew I could not. As my triumphant howl rang out in the night my eyes locked with hers and I could see that a change had come upon her. Where before there had only been fear and uncertainty, I now recognized something new and with it I then felt confident that I would not roam the earth alone. As the loud, booming howl reached its conclusion, I took her by her tiny, pale hands and drew her near to me. As the full moon was briefly obscured by passing clouds, I sank my fangs deeply into her neck and thus began her transformation from woman to monster. From mortal to immortal.

I went here a few weeks ago and would not go here again it’s not terrible but it’s not great either. The elevator area smelt horrendous because the pool area was nearby. The beds were cold and uncomfortable felt like I was sleeping on a mattress only. The washroom was not the best the towel holder and the toilet paper holder were so fragile it broke off so easily when I tried putting a towel or toilet paper on it. The drainage was bad in the sink and in the shower it took forever for the water to drain. The best part was the food area I ordered waffles and the employee there was so sweet and the food tasted delicious.
