Well, after a unprofessional checkin, by staff that do not care about customer service nor do they know the difference between a pet and a service animal. Hopefully they will be retrained. Was honestly probably the worst checkin we've ever delt with with a IHG Hotel. The room was definitely not cleaned the way they swore up and down they cleaned them. There is more complaints that will directly to IHG. But it us a hotel we won't use again.
It is also way outdated compared to any Holiday Inn we've been to yet.

Service was nice. Location isn’t horrible. The issues that I experienced here were I found blood on my sheets/linen. Was then moved to another room I then found ROACHES before I could even put my bags down.

Very disappointed in customer service at this Hotel. My daughter had surgery scheduled so because we live far from the hospital, I called around to hotels trying to find the best deal on a hotel overnight. I explained she was having surgery and I would like the hospital discount if available. I was quoted 91.00 so I booked the room. Upon checkin the desk employee said I was given the wrong quote and I could either pay $115.00 for the night or cancel my reservation and stay elsewhere. I understand people make mistakes, but I should not have to pay for their mistake. We were too tired to find another hotel last minute so just paid anyway. Was crappy of the hotel and we wont ever recommend them.

My wife and I enjoyed a 4-night stay at this hotel located centrally in the city of Marshfield. We didn't have any of the issues adversely mentioned by other recent reviewers. Of note - the photo of the broken roadway posted by a recent user is actually the entrance to the Rivers restaurant, not the hotel. The hotel has an entrance directly off Central Ave, and another onto Park Street, with both being in good repair. The entrance onto 9th Street, photographed by a recent user, is off the Rivers' restaurant parking lot. Additionally, a recent user complained about the pool closure despite the hotel's website clearly stating the following "The Pool area including the waterslide and kiddie pool is currently closed. We do apologize for this inconvenience." Due diligence before booking clearly articulates available amenities. My wife and I were in room 226, a very spacious room with comfortable king bed. Check-in was efficient with key cards working flawlessly upon arrival to the room. All items in the room (mini-refrigerator, Keurig, microwave, hair dryer, and TV) worked well without any issues. We ate twice across the street at Nutz Deep II bar/restaurant, one of the city's best restaurants (Blue Heron to nearby south of the hotel is also a decent pizza joint with craft beers on-tap). We also visited Pick N Save grocery, a Kroger-owned store located within 3-minute walk from the hotel = very convenient. Rates at this hotel are more competitive than recent raised rates at Hampton Inn. My wife and I travel substantially - most of the issues complained about by other users is due to lack of due diligence/planning. We will certainly stay at this hotel again in summer 2026 when in town to visit family.

On first appearance, thought it was abandoned. The outside of the building was very unkept. The appearance of the lobby was warm and friendly, although the front desk person was not. Disappointed that the pool and hot tub was closed to renovation, the main reason to choose this hotel. Bed was comfy and room was quiet. I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years and sadly will NOT be back.
