Stayed here for 4 nights in July when my daughter came up from Virginia and loved the stay. Rooms were clean and done daily by housekeeping ensuring a clean and stocked supply of linens. Bar downstairs was awesome with friendly and courteous bartenders who had to sometimes cook as well when shorthanded and food was delicious. Cheese curds the bomb!! Not many people were present in bar but it did have few guests come and go ordering a drink and a bite to eat. Breakfast was good and stocked full for those benefiting from it. 4601 Bar and Bistro beats The Wharf in Manitowoc
Overall, this is one of the best Holiday Inns I have stayed at and Gary the owner runs it very well and I feel safe with my family at this location being right off the interstate. At time of writing this, I am staying here again for an out of town Christmas company dinner and actually got same room as I did in July. Only difference is it's winter and not as busy as in summer, but staff like Robin and Jackie are an asset to vacationers or tourists wanting a quiet, safe and reasonable priced lodging during their stay.
Thanks!!

I am an early riser. I was up at 5 am to grab some coffee. I went back to my room to read while my husband slept longer. I read my book for a bit then decided to lay back down a bit. At 830 am was woke up to someone who walked in to our room. I looked up in time to see them leave and hear the door shut. So I realize I didn’t lock the deadbolt when I came back to the room earlier, my mistake but excuse me check out is not until much later! Very uncomfortable moment. We got up and decided to get ready to go.

Was not a fan of this location. From staff trying to enter my room early in thr morning g to thr hot water being doen for two nights... there are lots of other things as well... wasnt happy about the staff either. Its not that this was a horrible experience its just that I know they're capable of so much more.
