    I’ve been coming to this hotel for years - it’s really cute and cozy. I’ve stayed in the king suites, king single and queen doubles. All are lovely. One of the best parts is the super friendly front desk staff - take note other impersonal hotels! They always get you setup quickly and on my recent birthday they even gifted me a couple of free drink tickets for their in-hotel bar. I appreciate how close it is to Willy St (IO Arcade bar, Crystal Corner, Weary Traveler, all the good spots). Will be back, of course.

    Best part of our stay was our shuttle ride with Nathan! He was so kind and drove incredibly safely. The hotel is honestly lucky to have him! The front desk staff was incredibly helpful as well. The sheets and bathroom were clean and location was good.

    I don't even know where to start with this review. The rooms at this hotel were comfortable, quiet, and honestly very well done. We slept great. The amenities were fantastic, and the lobby has a fun atmosphere with games and a great restaurant downstairs. If I were rating only the physical space, this would easily be a five-star review. Unfortunately, that’s where my positive experience ends. My husband accidentally left his headphones behind, and my parents—who were staying an extra night—planned to pick them up from the front desk. When we checked the Tile tracker, the headphones showed as being in the front desk area. We called, but the staff said they didn’t have access to the hospitality/holding area and that only the manager could check the next day. The next morning, when we checked the Tile app again, the headphones were no longer at the hotel—they were at a trailer park down the road. After we sent screenshots to the hotel, the manager called my husband to say that an employee had been fired and the headphones were on their way back. A few hours later, the Tile showed them back at the hotel, and we received a tracking number for return shipping. I appreciate that they handled it, but the situation itself was deeply concerning. Then came the billing issues. At checkout, my printed bill showed a total of $425. But my card was charged $470, which didn’t make sense, even after accounting for the $25 security hold. When I called, I was told the bill “in their computer” was $450—not the amount I had in writing. The pending charge eventually settled at $450, and I’m still confused about how any of these numbers connect. To make things even stranger, my printed bill included a full hotel register. I had a list of other guests’ names and room numbers. I doubt anyone wants their private check-in information handed to another guest. And as one last frustration, my husband didn’t receive proper credit for nights stayed—but honestly, at this point, that felt like the least of our concerns. Overall, despite great rooms and amenities, the security issues, inconsistent billing, and privacy missteps made this a hotel we won’t be returning to.

    I stayed here during a work trip and absolutely loved it. Felt incredibly cozy and warm, almost like a second home. Beautiful design, looks like every detail is thoughtfully planned out. Everything was spotless, odorless and very clean. Staff were genuinely welcoming. Hotel is close to my office and to the city center as well. It was amazingly quiet - that is very needed after a long day! I'll 100% stay here again on my next visit to Madison. Truly wonderful place to come back!
