I booked this room through a 3rd party on Priceline on valentines day for my son and myself. When I arrived I was greeted wonderfully and checked in great was given my room keys with no hassle. We went up to our room put our Suits on and proceeded down to the pool to do some swimming which I noticed half of the pool was closed and learned as I was walking in from another woman who was staying at the hotel that someone puked in the pool so we were limited to only the baby side, which was no big deal at least we could get some pool time. Needless to say that didnt last long someone ended up throwing up on that side as well and they closed the entire pool down that was shortly after we got in there within 15 mins. so we literally got no swim time my little guy is autistic we usually come here solely just for the pool but decided to make it EXTRA special and get a room this time. well we headed back up to the room and i tried to get the internet to work with no luck I called down to the front desk letting them know I was having issues signing in and they helped me get signed in they explained because I purchased through Priceline it hadn't registered through them yet so they were able to get me the internet which was great. Not even 5 mins later I get a call from the front desk from the same guy saying my payment was denied... I told him that's impossible I have confirmation email and I have it already deducted from my bank account, he insisted that I had to come down to the front desk to resolve this at that moment... now mind you my son is 8 years old and autistic and its 8pm at this point I went down there extremely upset had to show him the deducted amount withdrawn from my bank account to prove that my room was already paid for!!!!! I than walked away and never got an apology from him. I went back to my room and called back to the front desk and asked to have the managers contact info ready for me at check out!!!
This is not the way people should be treated when they purchase rooms through a 3rd party. Please do better!

Family had a great weekend visiting, picked for the water park that was a load of fun for our 4 year old. Large breakfast area with plenty of room to not feel rushed. Would absolutely stay here again if life calls us back to Madison.

Met here with many friends who drove to Madison to hang out. Many friends have small kids (6 year old and under). Plan was to enjoy the "water park", bring food and share in the lobby and catch up. We are local so it was only a 20 minute drive. For Saturday you have to book a room to use the Waterpark. We checked in with our two kids (2 and 4 year old) at 3pm. Our room space was fine but it smelled like weed, lacked a bath to wash the young kids, and had a cigarette burn in a chair. The carpet was very old and not comfortable on bare feet. We changed and used the water park which was very small and overuse. At 515pm we met with 7 adults and 5 kids in lobby which was empty. Every table had a sign that said "no outside food or drinks". Overall, it was a disappointing experience and did not fit our group needs. Would not recommend. Since we were local and our kids would not be able to sleep we drove home and did not stay the night. Our friends who came from 3-4 hours away reported trouble sleeping for themselves and their kids. Breakfast next day was very good.

Very disappointing. To start off, they only have two cribs in the entire hotel. The front desk lady in the morning seemed very agitated anytime we had a question or needed something. The lifeguards are less than disappointing. On their phones most of the time, or being very handsy with each other. There was a group of older kids playing football in the pool and running into everyone. One of them jumped into the pool on top of my daughter (6) and she went under. This happened right in front of one of the lifeguards and she didn't even see it. She just sat there on her phone.
When we got back to the room and take showers, it took about a half hour for any sort of hot water to come.
We had dinner at the restaurant there and that was no better. We sat there with 4 small kids for over an hour before I had to ask someone if our food was coming. The waiter we asked said there was a bunch of food done and waiting in the kitchen and just needed to be brought out. The servers were just slowly wandering around with everyone's food sitting out in the back. We sat with empty water for most of that hour waiting time. When our food came out, our order was wrong and we had to ask for silverware after our food was out. They also messed up the bill.
This whole experience was just crazy to me.
