The room is tiny, there is no closet or other place to put clothing. It’s clearly a not very well renovated closet. $400/night, plus $15 “resort fee” but nothing to purchase except crappy cocktails. This is awful experience. Website misleading as to room amenities. And the HVaC in the room sounds like a train. Don’t stay here. Bathroom has no counter. Hotel rooms in NYC are larger. Walls are paper thin. Can hear very word of the conversation the room next door is having. When I complained, the front desk offered earplugs. How about- sound proofing? Almost forgot - the sheets are torn. Awful. A total rip off.

If you’re doing business on campus, this is the spot. The Graduate Madison is charming and full of local character. Though the footprint is smaller than some Graduates, the service is massive. Amelia handled our check-in and was incredibly helpful, specifically regarding our Hilton Gold status benefits. It’s rare to find someone so knowledgeable and welcoming. We’re Hilton-only travelers, and this stay solidified that choice. Highly recommend!

We had to travel to Madison to take our dog to the UW school of veterinary medicine. We chose the Graduate hotel because they are pet friendly. This was by far the best pet friendly hotel we have stayed at. The decor is so thoughtful and the furniture is very comfortable and functional. It’s easy to feel at home in this kind of place. The room we stayed in was a corner room with a king bed, a desk, and a side chair. There was a floor to ceiling window that our dog enjoyed looking out of when she was recovering from dental work. The location is by Greek row so although there are a lot of grass options to walk your dog to, be cautious if you have a dog that likes to eat trash because there was kind of a lot of party trash along the sidewalks and yards.
We would stay here again and would recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Madison.

You could search high and low and you’d be hard pressed to find a hotel finer than the graduate Madison. Every staff member is helpful, kind, and fun! The food both at the coffee shop downstairs and rooftop bar is greats. And the rooms are stylish and comfortable. Also perfect location to walk to just about anywhere in downtown Madison!
