Room, linens were very clean and smelled fresh. The bed was incredibly comfortable, mattresses felt new. The hotel is located among several great restaurants, very walkable. Walking the neighborhood was fun, beautiful views of lake. The hotel does not have parking, but several garages close enough. It was a bit further from campus if that’s important to you .
- TPTim PondsOct 17, 20255.0I stayed at Embassy Suites Madison from mid June to early October each week on business. The staff there is phenomenal. A huge shout out to Vidushi at reception desk. She always made me feel at home away from home. I even brought my dog Archie one week and she made him a doggy bag with treats and a stuffed toy. Alexis at the bar was also fabulous. She made one feel at home and her service was impeccable. The rooms here are clean. Plenty of ways to hookup electronic devices throughout the room. I only wish the design of the kitchenette area was better. Microwave is hidden on a lower shelf and hard to access. The sink is not design to wash any dirty dishes so plan not to use it. Finally, the refrigerator does not have a freezer section for frozen meals. It was nice having both microwave and fridge though. The breakfast staff were also great. Homemade omelets and friendly hosts in dining area. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It is close to everything downtown and parking averaged only $11 overnight. I even brought my bicycle and they have a nice locked bicycle room on the northwest side of hotel. I was able to store my bicycle there over the short weekend back home and able to get easy access to the bike trail near the lake. Hats off to the staff.
