I stayed at this accommodation for a period of ten days in March of 2026. My assigned room was number 220, the room was spacious, featuring a king-sized bed and two sofas. It was immaculately clean and emitted a pleasant aroma; however, I was unable to achieve restful sleep. The occupant(s) in the room directly above engaged in dragging furniture throughout the night until morning. I contacted the front desk to inquire about the situation and was initially met with an individual exhibiting discourteous conduct; he answered the phone without the customary greeting, merely saying hello, which was difficult to hear. When I confirmed whether I was speaking to the front desk, he responded with, "What do you need?" I was taken aback and inquired if he was well, to which he repeated, "What do you need?" I then asked if he was alright and remarked that it was too early for such rudeness, but Garett showed no remorse or apology. I requested information regarding the noise upstairs, but he dismissed my concern, attributing the disturbance to wind outside. I asked to speak with a manager, and he claimed to be the manager on duty. I further stated that I would speak with someone else upon shift change. Subsequently, I spoke with a young lady who confirmed that there was a party upstairs that evening. I requested to be relocated and was assigned to room 312. The bathroom in this room was unhygienic; the toilet appeared as if it had not been cleaned in days, with hair scattered across the vanity sink. I requested a transfer to a cleaner room, and I was informed that the occupants of room 220 had vacated, allowing me to return if I wished. I did so. The upstairs room appeared to serve as a party venue, as the noise disturbance happened again. When I called, I was told it was empty and I believe it was Kayla who insisted that there was no one in the room. Due to exhaustion and the need for sleep, I requested another move. The front desk staff, displaying a lack of professionalism and pettiness, relocated me to a smaller room at the end of the hall near the stairs, where the door slamming could be heard constantly, the view and noise of the freeway, and the room itself were substandard. The window shade was stuck midway. At this point, I was too fatigued to request further assistance or reallocation. This property is suitable for a one or two-night stay; however, I was moving and required a longer stay. Fort Atkinson is a small town, and there was no other hotel with a higher rating that accepted a small dog. Otherwise, I would have moved even if it had entailed additional expense.
