- PRp rutherfordNov 14, 20251.0The bed mattress was too soft. So soft you sink in the middle. Cigarette smoke was another problem. I felt like because I was a women I wasn't taken serious. My cell phone turned off the key to my room because it was too close. I guess your supposed to know this already when it happens. I personally never had the problem at other locations. The clerk challenged me several times asking me why I wheeled my belongings back to the desk when I got my card recharged. I hadn't even unpacked my things yet. He told me no one would steal my things if I left them out in the middle of the hall. "Seriously" He even asked me again I repeated I didn't want my things stolen. I did have very valuable things in my possession. He then repeated himself saying no one would take my things if I had left them out in the hall up on second floor. Best Western Plus used to be more dutiful to it's guests. I have stayed at Best Westerns all across the U.S. for over a decade. Even the old sites have historically been clean and professional. The atmosphere here felt like a once good site gone bad.
