  We were stranded here due to the blizzard, our flight was cancelled. I will say, our front desk lady Wendy, was exceptional, real, helpful, and truly a pleasure to interact with. Ray, I’m not sure his title, helped me clean off my car, was so helpful and pleasant. Emily the bartender, sweet, and listening to us all that had failed vacation plans, there was a lot of us due to the blizzard, and Shawn, maintenance, never stopped clearing out the snow and still helpful and pleasant. If I’m going to be stranded due to a blizzard, I’m so thankful for this staff.

  I called the hotel and talked to Emily about the property and decided to reserve a room. She got me hooked up with reservations and made them. When my wife and I arrived 5 hours later she remembered talking to me. She gave us room with 30 in it for our 30th wedding anniversary. Also enjoyed the bar that evening and Carrie was very attentive and talking with the customers. She made the evening for pleasurable. Room was great too. Will be back when we fly out of Appleton again. Great job all.

  Stayed in this hotel for 4 days and my experience was awesome. I think what made it amazing was Emily and Carrie. They were awesome! I would come back anytime as long as they are here

  I had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn in Appleton, Wisconsin, and a big part of that was thanks to two outstanding staff members, Emily and Carrie. From the moment I arrived, they both demonstrated a level of professionalism and genuine hospitality that truly stood out. Emily was incredibly welcoming and attentive. She handled every interaction with a positive attitude and made sure that any questions I had were answered promptly and clearly. Her friendly demeanor immediately made me feel comfortable and valued as a guest. Carrie was equally impressive. She went above and beyond to ensure that everything during my stay ran smoothly. Her attention to detail and willingness to help with anything I needed showed a true commitment to guest satisfaction. It’s clear that she takes pride in her work and in representing the Holiday Inn brand. Both Emily and Carrie created an atmosphere that made the stay feel personal rather than routine. Their teamwork, professionalism, and kindness made a lasting impression and turned what could have been an ordinary hotel stay into a very pleasant experience. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Appleton, you are in excellent hands with staff members like Emily and Carrie. They are a credit to the hotel and an example of what great hospitality should look like.

  Emily was wonderful from the moment we walked into the hotel. She greeted us with a warm smile, made check-in quick and smooth, and answered all of our questions clearly and patiently. Her professionalism and friendly attitude made a great first impression and truly set the tone for our stay. Thank you, Emily, for the excellent service! Carrie was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we sat down at the bar, she made us feel welcome and taken care of. She has such a great personality — friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaging without ever being overbearing. Her drink recommendations were spot on, and every cocktail was made perfectly. You can tell she knows her craft and takes pride in what she does. Even when the bar got busy, Carrie stayed calm, efficient, and kept the energy positive. If you get the chance, definitely sit at Carrie’s bar — she’ll make sure you have a great experience. We’ll definitely be back!
