I had to call the hotel to confirm that our room had a hideaway sofa. Not only did the young woman at the front desk make sure we had the sofa, but she remember the call and mentioned it at check-in to confirm that she had us in a great room. Excellent personal service!

The entire time me and my friends stayed here, we had to listen to 40+ kids running up and down the halls. Screaming at the top of their lungs for 3 days straight. Literally no peace and quiet and front desk kept claiming they would do something, and the only thing they offered was to switch rooms but couldn’t get another king size room or a deduction for having to downsize to a queen. Very unprofessional place. 10 other people also made complaints and nothing was done for them either. Me and my friends will never come back, and I will not be recommending this place to anyone. There was only one worker who seemed to care and he was great. But other than that, horrible experience, horrible workers and horrible parents. 0/10

Great stay during the holidays. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, even on Christmas day. Had breakfast at the restaurant every morning and liked it. Rooms were clean and my only complaint was the water pressure. So week you had to run around the shower to get wet. 😢

Live locally. Friend got room for kids to swim. Hadn’t been to this hotel for years when it was a Holiday Inn, who built a new place. Assumed it was updated when Hilton bought. Pool area was a bit gross. Zero towels. Front desk said they’d bring some, never did. Bathrooms in pool area gross. Hot tub knob missing. Even when turned with fingers, jets never turned on. The AED unit isn’t ready for an emergency. Battery has been removed. This makes me assume this hotel is owned by a Patel. Thought Hilton would be smarter than to allow that. Stay elsewhere. Update: came back 2 days later, nothing changed. AED still not operable, hot tub still broke. I think someone from Pierce/Oshkosh needs to do a site visit and consider sending their high paying customers/hero first responders to a nice hotel. I even think the Clintonville motel is nicer for “their” customers. No excuse for the amount of money Pierce probably spends here.

Ice hotel- not the greatest parking lot but that’s not a deal breaker. Rooms are decent- bathroom, specifically the floor, could be a little cleaner- dust/grime in the creases around the shower, but again that is not a deal breaker. Nice self-care products in large bottles in the shower- shampoo, conditioner and body wash by CrabTree & Evelyn. Tv was not responsive to the remote and it would be nice if they had smart TVs. Nice amount of charging ports, both USB and C, also a lay-on charger on one side of the bed which is nice. Overall a nice hotel. Staff was friendly and check-in was quick and smooth. Location is close to downtown Appleton and the mall which is nice. Easy access to I-41. Plenty of dining options nearby as well. We will stay here again.
