First, our location. Use us as your home base for exploring Leavenworth (20 miles away), Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort (15 miles away), and the enormous Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest (37-ish miles away).
If you’re sticking around town, there’s plenty to do right around here. Like biking the Apple Capital Loop Trail that starts in town and winds along the mighty Columbia River. Or catching a Wenatchee Wild hockey game at the Town Toyota Center.
Next, our amenities. We’ve got bean-to-cup coffee for you in the lobby 24/7. Grab a bagel, muffin, banana, yogurt, or fluffy scrambled eggs and potatoes daily, with eaither crispy bacon bits or pork sausage for breakfast. For free. Get your sweat on in our 24-hour gym, complete with a spin bike, treadmill, yoga mats, and balance balls. Ready to relax? Soak and splash in our heated indoor pool and hot tub.
And then there’s our rooms. They’ve got everything you need and nothing you don’t. Sleep tight with a 15-inch pillowtop mattress, sound-reducing headboard, and blackout shades. Well lit parking lot. Cons: Overpriced for what it is. Colors used for the place and rooms are ugly. If you like the flat feather type pillows this is your place. No fan only option for the room thermostat. Breakfast that starts at 7 was out of food at 7:30 both days. It seems they plan the breakfast on about 20 people eating by the amount of food put out. The staffing to clean and keep things supplied was inadequate. So if the hotel is full like it was when I was there, good luck getting your included breakfast and I clean place to sit. Still waiting for my required 50.00 supprise security deposit to be refunded a day later. You also have to pay in full before your stay. I would look elsewhere for a room.
- SLSam LFeb 16, 20265.0Had a fantastic stay at avid hotel Wenatchee! The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, and the included amenities are excellent. Free EV charging is such an amazing convenience at a hotel, really great planning by those who designed the place. On that note, the layout of the rooms is a little bit different from other hotels and the placement of everything seems so intentional. No random chair facing the bed, built-in lights, outlets, and USB charging in the nightstands, neatly organized compartments for a safe, fridge, iron, ironing board, and hooks for hanging things all around the room. They did keep the usual desk and chair with a light above it, but it fits nicely with the rest of the layout. One more thing about the room, the TV can stream content from your phone! Also, free breakfast, pool and hot tub, gym, and free coffee and tea 24/7. On top of the reasonable prices, you really can’t do better at this price point. Wonderful hotel, 10/10, would stay here again.
