The room itself was fine, what you'd expect. The staff was friendly. We didn't have the breakfast. The issue I had was the convenience shop was basically empty. On top of that, so was the single vending machine. Even though there were signs for other vending machines, they weren't there. And the ice machine was broken.

Good location, and excellent breakfast.
However, the outdoor trash cans were constantly full and overflowing, including the one in the patio. There were also empty beer cans left laying around the fire pits in the morning as well. I also paid extra for a so called “Mountain View” room and it was just a ground floor level room with a view of the parking lot. Not a huge deal because it wasn’t much of an extra payment, but it felt like a bit of a let down.
Decent stay, but I just felt like it could be much better if a few things are improved upon.

The hotel was conveniently located to where we were going, just 5 minutes from Walla Walla college. On checkout, the clerk did not know how to accept cash payment and said I would get a receipt once the manager came and showed her how. I still have not seen the receipt. When I booked, it said $114 with tax. On checkout it came to $129 because there were other taxes and fees not included. The room was great and the breakfast was good. Our room was ready early which was nice.

I stay here a lot for work. Most hotels give us a little break on rates since we stay so frequently, but this hotel will not and no managers ever return phone calls. Weve had instances where we book a particular room and pay extra for it, and they dont give us that type of room, or a refund. Very mediocre service in my opinion. Rooms are fine, not special in any way.
