Oh my god! Fine enough hotel, but due to their remodel everything smelled insanely caustic. We transferred rooms once to get farther away from the active remodel, but the new room also smelled terrible. Visually nice enough hotel, but they are not ready to have guests at this time. If they insist on staying open for guests, they should run some ozone machines or something to get rid of the chemical smell. The only saving grace is that the fumes probably helped me fall asleep faster than usual… desperation while traveling late at night was the only thing that convinced me to sleep there.

We had asked for a suite but our reservation was mixed up. The handicapped services were good.

I had to stay here for work travel or i would’ve cancelled my reservation immediately. The elevator was down so all guests had to carry their luggage up the stairs. The first two floors were under renovation. My room had a moldy odor and also reeked of insecticide. The bathrooms were covered in mold and the sheets were covered in dirt. Far from a 3-star experience.

My sister's actually a guest here at this hotel numerous times over the last couple of years and every time she has stayed here it has been under renovation I'm not sure what's going on but they always seem to be renovated this particular time the elevators were out of commission and she had to walk to the third floor as so did I no big deal but I asked her if they gave her a discount for having to walk to the third floor and she said no they didn't and I thought well that's pretty rude he thinks he'd give him a discount then after if they had a good breakfast and she said oh no you have to pay extra for that and I'm like most hotels give free breakfast anymore what's the deal so I'm not sure what amenities this place covers but it just seems like it doesn't cover much. And it's just east of all the homeless encampments in the Vancouver area and Cascade Park.
