- PDP DoanAug 24, 20183.0Unlike a lot of other IHG Army hotels, this is not a new building but instead a converted barracks. Feels like it was built at least 20 years ago. Obviously good location if you need to be on post.

- SMScott MorrisNov 4, 20174.0The McChord side of the base hotel is a little dated, you share a bathroom in most of the 600 buildings but that's to be expected with military lodging. The 423 building is completely separated from the rest of the rooms, so plan to walk or have a car for breakfast across be in the 600 buildings in the morning. I think they also do a free dinner one day a week, usually hot dogs or something cheap but free food is free food if your not on any particular diets.
