  The experience here at Best Western Plus is wonderful. The receptionist has great customer service. The room is very comfortable. The complementary breakfast is nice. Housekeeping sucks. I left for the day and asked a housekeeper on the third floor to clean my room gave her $10 dollars , came back six hours later in my room still was clean , wasn't even touched that's poor service housecleaning service.

  Stayed at Best Western Plus Tacoma Hotel and had a much better experience than I expected based on some of the negative reviews. The location isn’t the best (it’s near a Goodwill), but the hotel itself is very well maintained with solid amenities. Check-in overnight was smooth, and the staff member was especially friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. One small downside: the bathroom amenities (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner) aren’t the large fixed bottles you see in many hotels, so you may want to bring your own toiletries, including lotion. Breakfast is consistent each day but reliable—hot options like bacon, sausage, and biscuits with gravy, plus good coffee. They also have an automatic machine for espresso, cappuccino, and lattes, which was a nice touch. A standout feature: they offer both standard EV charging and Tesla charging, which is surprisingly rare—even compared to nearby hotels like the Hilton. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely return. Not entirely sure why the ratings are so low, but my experience was very positive.

  Our overall stay with Best Western was excellent, clean accommodations, great food, and a welcoming staff while we checkedin. After a long five-hour flight, we were especially grateful for a comfortable place to rest. However, as out-of-state travelers, we accidentally arrived at the wrong Best Western location. The manager there offered us a better rate to stay, and in our exhaustion, we accepted, unaware and not informed that each location operates independently. Unfortunately, the hotel we originally booked charged us a $141 cancellation fee, as we had not contacted them directly. When we reached out to the location Manager, (Hosmer street) we were told rudely that the issue would need to be resolved with that specific location. So, we made the short 10-minute trip, and that’s where everything turned around. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Ms. Dey Arira, the facility manager @ 2611 E.E street. Despite having worked an overnight shift due to staffing shortages, she greeted us with professionalism, compassion, and genuine kindness. She immediately understood our situation and resolved it by issuing a full refund, something we truly did not expect. Beyond resolving the issue, she took the time to connect with us, sharing her appreciation for the beauty of Washington State. Her presence turned a stressful situation into a memorable and uplifting experience. Ms. Arira exemplifies what true customer service should be. Best Western would greatly benefit from having her mentor others in leadership and hospitality. Because of her, we will absolutely return—and we will be staying at her location. Highest regard and sincere appreciation.

  The room isn't bad, for the most it was clean minus having tint black ants in the bathroom and entryway. My husband told the front desk and it wasn't until housekeeping came around that they cleaned the floors but the ants didnt go away.
