The renovated rooms are done superficially without attention to detail. A lot of the old room details still exist and look sloppy. (eg, Renovated bathroom--- but the ceiling wasn't painted and includes disgusting yellow spots and hair. The OG popcorn ceilings also still exist in the rooms.)
The biggest issue, though, is temperature control. The HVAC is on heat AND cool, not one or the other. You can't set a range. Once the heat reaches the temp you want, the A/C kicks on and freezes the room several degrees below what you set the heat at. For example, I set it to 71 and the AC brought it down to 67. In winter. It just repeats --- heat until barely warm enough and then freezing you out. It's horrible.
The windows are also not renovated---- They are incredibly drafty and freezing this time of year. If you turn the assault HVAC off, the room is instantly frigid.
I could look past the nasty ceilings if I was warm....

We stayed at this hotel was told the pool was down but that we would be able to use the hot tub. But after leaving the hospital where my husband was admitted due to a heart attack we went to check-in and was told that the hot tub was closed at 10pm it was 10:01 The gal who was working there didn't even understand why the pool and hot tub were closed considering all other Hiltons pool rooms are all open 24/7. After that we were told there is no continental breakfast. And had to pay 23 dollars extra for my 2nd vehicle. The wifi was very sketchy. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND THROWING UR MONEY AWAY. I'm only leaving 1 star because it's required in order to leave this review. Otherwise they would be getting a Big Fat 0.. Frustrated is an understatement.

We stayed top floor (15) during the NYE celebration in a king suite. The skyline views, room cleanliness, and overall experience was above expectations for our party. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. We got stuck momentarily in the elevator, as they are aged but were able to get unstuck & out safely. We understood the age of this hotel when we booked but were surprised at how well they have maintained the space, it is very clean and feels very modern. Staff at breakfast & in room dinner had amazing attitudes & focused on every detail. Amazing experience staying over the Holiday! Thank you to those who dedicated their holidays to serving, your hard work did not go unnoticed.

The room was pleasant looking but the bed was very hard and the pillows very soft..very uncomfortable. My fault for not checking but I assumed a breakfast buffet would be included for a 4 star hotel.. should have known something was wrong because it was empty.. prices were high but we ate there anyway because we had to get on the road. Other family members stayed at the hotel across the street and another stayed at a cheaper hotel down the road they got breakfast included and slept well. The service was fine but would not recommend.

Easily the dirtiest hotel I have stayed at. There was some sort of food spilled and dried on the TV remote, the lamp shade have a smear of what I hope was chocolate on it, there was dust on everything, there was hair on the walls of the shower, the lights in the hallways weren't installed properly and had bugs and or other debris in them.
We attended an event in the grand ballroom and there were large cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. There were also several places where things have been added or removed from the building over the years and they never properly refinished the walls and or ceiling.
Most concerning of all one of the elevators shakes and make odd noises while in motion. This could be a very cool and nice hotel but they really need a remodel and a building maintenance crew that actually gives a damn.
