I'm still in shock at how I was just thrown out if this hotel. My boyfriend and I had a work thing in the area and booked a room for 2 nights. Priceline has identical rooms posted but one of the listings says it includes breakfast and is $15 more. But their is no "food included" room. All the guests are welcome to their bland, generic breakfast offering in the morning! Unfortunately I needed you use their laundry facility and I urge you to find a Laundromat in the area instead. There was one washer and one dryer working, and I say that loosely. The washing machine dribbled out all of my fabric softener onto the floor, twice. The machines that didn't have janky hand written "out-of-order" signs still took my money but then just sat there when I pushed start. My clothes were sopping wet and the dryer obviously had problems drying that much water. Whatever. But on the 3rd day, that is when this place really showed their colors. My boyfriend and I had already checked out but ended up needing to book one more night. I arrived back at the hotel before my boyfriend and ended up putting a hair treatment in while I waited. When it was time to rinse off he still wasn't back so I took my bags and went down to the bathroom by the pool because there was a shower in there. I ended up having 2 different employees straight up walk right in to the shower stall as I'm standing there in my underwear rinsing my hair, demanding to know why I was using that shower and if I was a guest at the hotel. These people had seen me, I had even spoken to a couple, in various different places within the hotel over the prior 2 days so I was a little confused as to how they were treating me like I was some street person that had snuck in and was planning on hunkering down in one of the abandoned hallways. They told me I wasn't allowed to be there if my name wasn't registered to a room. I had given them my boyfriends name and the room number that we had been staying in, even showed them that I had a room key still! The lady told me I needed to be with the register guest otherwise I wasn't allowed anywhere in the building. So I went up to the room we had stayed at, assuming that we would be issued the same one once my boyfriend had rebooked... But of course he still wasn't back. So as I'm standing there trying to get ahold of my partner, this child of a security guard, and this is not exaggeration, practically runs up on me, shaking he was so amped up at the chance to flex his authority, and tells me that I was told to leave. I informed him that no, I was told I needed to be with the registered guest. He then told me that I needed to wait outside, in the freezing cold, this was at 8pm, with soaking wet hair, and no, I was not welcome to wait in the lobby. I was stunned at their handling of this situation. So I took my things, I had been apologizing the entire time, telling them that no one had informed me that I wasn't allowed to move about the hotel even though they had all seen me going so the days prior. As I was walking out the door, the tiny toddler of a security guard that had been at my side the entire walk down and out and was practically half way to grabbing my arm and throwing me out, yells behind me that if I'm seen or found on that property again without being a registered guest or without being with a registered guest, they would be calling the police on me.... Needless to say, when my partner pulled up 10 mins later he immediately cancelled our reservation and we took our business elsewhere. I would highly encourage you to attempt to find alternate lodging unless you want your partner or kid tossed outside at night in the cold if they mistakenly have the audacity to walk about the hotel alone. What a joke.
