INFESTATION OF ANTS all over the dresser, wall, and bed when we woke up. Unfortunately I had another night to stay here so they changed the room for us but it was absolutely discusting and with no refund for the night. She apologized once and then told me she had Nickelback in her head obviously meaning she doesn’t care too much about my issue with their facilities and perhaps they are aware of the situation but again don’t care. 10/10 stay here if you want ANTS crawling on your pillow and phone when you wake up. UPDATE on the new room: it has such a weird smell and my friends in another room are worried it’s like a chemical or mold smell that our previous room and their room do not have. Definitely should be inspected especially since their AC is broken and makes it smell even worse. Omg and if I can say one more thing, check the expiration dates on the food in the breakfast, my yogurt was expired.

My wife and I were in Silverdale to help move our daughter to another state. I booked a pet friendly room as my daughters have cats and a dog. When we checked in we told the receptionist that we were going to have pets the last night of our stay. We were told no worries good to go. On the night we entered the hotel with our pets, another receptionist (not nice) yelled across the desk and the people to us waiting for an elevator what room are you in!!! We told her. I came to the front desk to asks if we had an issue, meaning have WE done something wrong. I was yelled at and told I could leave. Okay the issue is we had cat!! Cats are not allowed, it’s a pet friendly hotel that only allows dogs. That’s all good however don’t advertise as pet friendly it should be dog friendly only. Pet friendly implies or has the visual of more than just a dog. My review is based solely on the front desk interaction. After that encounter I went and canceled the four other best westerns reservations and changed them to other places. I will never stay at a Best Western again.

Very nice stay at this hotel. They have a really good breakfast with a beautiful view. Emma was one of the service attendants in the dining room, she was so friendly and made me feel welcomed. The bed is very comfortable. The only reason I didn't give the room 5 stars was because the water seemed a little plugged in the shower. I would definitely recommend best western silverdale!

The staff was friendly enough, the free breakfast was great. The rooms are tiny… like barely able to walk between the end of the bed and the tv stand, and the beds were stiff and uncomfortable. My biggest issue was there was a rail missing from our balcony. It was by the end where you could not tell from inside the room. My little guys went out on the balcony right away. They could have easily fallen through. So scary and they were completely unapologetic about it. Almost seemed like they were irritated at me for bringing it up. For these reasons we will never stay there again. Would not recommend this place.

This place was not worth the rate. I'm currently calling over and over with no answer to discuss a charge on my card. It rings and rings then hangs up. With a nearly $200 mystery charge. I'll keep trying. The staff was acceptable. They say "welcome back", but it hits like they have to do it. Some of them were nice and I wish I knew their names. The others seemed like they worked at McDonald's or similar prior to their move into hospitality. Makes the wait for the elevator awkwardish. 80% of the time we interacted with the desk, it felt like we was interrupting the staff. I felt like moving, but booked through a third party and didn't want to deal with it. We just made the most of it. The breakfast was stale and the gravy had a canned flavor and wasn't good at all. We only tried it once due to the poor quality of food and the other guests' mess was left laying. The room felt more like an office made into a break room used as a breakfast room. Housekeeping was random, some said it was daily, some every other day, and another employee said every 3 days. We had to get our own towels and toilet paper from the front desk. The only time they came was at 4:30pm on day 2 when we were eating an early dinner and watching a movie. The elevators, well elevator. There are 2 but I never seen the other working. The wait for the one is long and everyone crowds in front of the front desk making it an ordeal to get to the button. The pool, laundry, and other amenities are in the basement. A long creepy hallway you have to walk down to a single locked door. I was told you room key opened but never worked. So, we wasn't even able to use these amenities. Staff only offered to remake the cards. It was up to me with an injured leg to keep making the trip to see if it worked. The bar and restaurant are not open. Booking.com could have mentioned it. Instead it's listed as an amenity. That was a bummer. Actually the only reason I chose the hotel in the first place. The noise from the hall. Housekeeping, guests, and staff slam doors, and talk loudly in the hallway. This wouldn't be bad if sound didn't travel through the doors like they don't exist. Street noise, our room face the parking lot. The windows are not insulated and allow all noise through. From loud exhaust to kids playing and even random conversations made it up to our 3rd floor room. The restroom is really small. You cannot shut the door without squeezing yourself next to the toilet. The toilet paper holder is behind you, not easy to get to, but you may pop your back trying. However, they did have a good shower. The pressure was nice and it got good and hot. There is no where to put your luggage. Not a rack or table. Just a closet with a narrow shelf. We ended up just leaving our bags on the floor open. There was a few drawers, but I personally don't like to use them. I prefer a luggage rack. I seriously doubt any hotel wipes out the drawers. The phone will not stop flashing a red light that keeps you both awake and wondering why it's flashing. The hotel can't tell you why and suggested unplugging it. The HVAC, no matter what we did. We could not get the temp to go lower than 71⁰ in the room. We had to open the window, but it had no screen and little gnats got in the room. Maintenance never touched it. The bedding, the sheets were so loose that they came off the mattress. It's a gross feeling to wake up on a mattress with no sheet or protector on it. Luckily, it didn’t look stained. The pillows compress and get hard. I actually got a tension headache from it one night. The bed wasn't bad. Just cheap pillows. It was clean, and recently remodeled. I had to pull painters tape off the door latch to use the bathroom door. The exterior isn't too bad. It shows signs of it's age. Kept relatively clean though. It connects to a trail by the beach and is a beautiful walk. There's plenty of parking and restaurants within walking distance. All in all, it has the potential to be nice. However, for me. It was the nicest place I was ever disappointed to stay at.
