The rooms need to be updated/deep cleaned and repaired, one or both. The breakfast options are very limited. A few of the kitchen items were broken. There was no notice anywhere that construction was occurring, so on my vacation I was woken up at 8am sharp to the sound of pounding and power tools. I would have picked another hotel had that been listed on the website like the pool shutdown was. The staff is amazing, really the highlight of this location.

Friends: Beware of the deceiving practices at Staybridge SUITES Seattle Fremont IHG Hotel!
There are two scams at this Fremont Seattle Staybridge hotel:
Firstly. Switch the number of beds when sending your confirmation. Make sure to check every detail immediately upon receipt of your Hotel Confirmation. I am sharing this so that you won’t have to suffer any back pain sleeping on their unevenly sunken sofa bed.
I have selected and booked online on December 2, 2025 for one night stay for a room with two Queen-sized beds for 2 adults for January 19, 2026 (Monday) Martin Luther King’s Day, and checked out on January 20, 2026 Tuesday early morning. We got only a single queen/full size bed. The weird thing was that I have booked directly with Staybridge Fremont Seattle directly online, but when I select to pay, I was directed to Booking.com! I reminded the receptionist named Merritt that I have selected and prepaid a room with 2-Queen-sized bed, but it was not so when we arrived at our room given, which has only one full/queen-sized bed and an old and badly sunken sofa. When I asked for another room with 2-queen sized beds; to my surprise, she replied that “this Hotel does not offer any rooms with 2-Queen-sized beds and they have only a single queen-sized bed in each room. And that I could go to the Holiday Inn across the street and they have 2-queen-sized beds rooms. What a sale pitch!
Secondly. The Hotel’s Denial of my prepaid parking fees and charged me again, holding us hostage of our car unless we pay again as you cannot leave the hotel without a key card to the garage at the basement to retrieve your car. This hassle made me late for my doctor’s appointment at UW Med Center,
I was shocked that the receptionist, Merritt insisted to debit my credit card for another $32.00 for the parking fees again. I reminded the receptionist, Merritt that I had already prepaid to Booking.com at the time of our booking, but she ignored me.
My journey to get my refund was also extremely challenging, time-consuming, frustrating and then they ghosted me.
They could email you, but they do not follow up coherently and requesting documents, which they clearly have in their possession and you could not email them back to get an answer. IHG clearly has a horrible communication system with guests or they purposely made it this way so that it is difficult and impossible to follow up on our complaint. They have hundred and one excuses not to refund me.
IHG Staybridge Fremont Seattle has no intention to refund me my doubled charge parking fees. It was more than two frustrating weeks that I eventually contacted my credit card company to lodge for a refund. IHG tried to refund only a third of my parking fees. I am grateful thast my credit card company helped to secure all the refunds due to me within a week.
Do we need to give our business to such unscrupulous hotels? Of course, a BIG NO!
Be alert!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We asked for restaurant suggestions and the gentlemen at the desk have us a couple of places he likes and handed us a paper that listed near by restaurants with the addresses and phone numbers to each place. They had a nice little pantry with snack items you could go down to 24 hours a day and get items other then just vending machines. They have nice amenities also, hot tube, pool, and fitness room. If you are working during your start they have conference rooms, a room with computers and fax/printer machines called a business room. Their den is big with a double sided for place. With a small room of to the side with a couch and TV. They have a rooftop area with a beautiful view of the city. The night view is gorgeous!! If your a smoker it keeps you from having to go out to the street, and had multiple ash trays. The roof top has multiple tables, fireplace, and two bbq if you choose to use. The breakfast had more choices then expected. On top of the eggs, bacon, and potatoes, they had fresh cut fruit, waffles, hard boiled eggs, fresh baked scones, bagels and English muffins with two different cream cheeses, salsa and butter. They had cereal and the milk had chocolate to option also. They even had soy milk on request. They had a yogurt bar included and coffee bar, soda dispenser, and 3 different juices. Their breakfast alone helps to cut some cost of you are looking to save a little for more fun things to do. The rooms were spacious with a kitchenette. Including the essentials and a small dishwasher. The location was extremely nice in that you are not right downtown, but only about a 10 minute drive to get there. The only reason I did not give 5 stats was because the bed was uncomfortable for us. And that you are charged to park in their private parking garage even tho you are staying at their location. We would definitely come back and stay here again.
