This place feels so damn old and just dingy bad location food options that are OK. Staff is friendly, but not worth it. Came back later in the evening around 11:30 PM. There’s a homeless man passed out in front of the main entry point had to walk over him.

No fridge or microwave in the room were negatives. A fridge can be requested, but we arrived at 10pm and staff were not available to bring a fridge. My milk got warm. Hotel also ran out of regular coffee packets. I called asking for regular coffee and was delivered extra decaf. Asked at the front desk and they got me a comped coffee from the cafe, but I really just want something for when I wake up tomorrow. I guess I'll run to 7-11 and get some instant. These are not fatal flaws, the room was clean and quiet.

I've stayed at several Graduate hotels across the country and, compared to the others, the Graduate UW is just OK.
On the positive side, the location is great. It's a 5-7 minute walk to the campus and it's even closer to all the fun restaurants on University Way. Also, the staff at the Graduate does a great job.
On the negative side, the rooms leave a lot to be desired. The bathrooms are very small and the fixtures are dated. Some rooms have area carpets, others are tiled floors (no carpet). Little things like the drapes, furniture, art work, HVAC - it all seems tired and in need of updating. The lobby is fun, but a little disjointed. For example, there is a nice fireplace, but a long couch butts up against it which mean only two, at most three, people can sit by the fireplace.
In short, it feels like Hilton did a rush job to convert this building into one of their properties. IMO I would expect more from Hilton. Obviously Graduate hotels aren't meant to compete with high end hotels, but this facility is lagging behind other Graduate hotel locations.

🌟 Amazing Weekend Getaway at The Graduate Hotel! 🌟
We had such a fantastic adult weekend getaway at The Graduate Hotel by the University of Washington — everything was perfect! The staff was incredible, super friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The rooftop restaurant and bar was a huge bonus — amazing food, great cocktails, and stunning views of the city and campus! 🍸✨
The location couldn’t be better — we were able to walk everywhere around the UW district, great coffee shops, restaurants, and fun local spots all nearby. It was the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and style. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing weekend in Seattle, this hotel is absolutely worth it! ❤️🏨
