My husband booked this hotel for our children to swim and us to relax in the hot tub, had we know that neither were in working order we would have never booked here, as we are local and had no need for a place to stay. When talking to the front desk about this, she(Lindsey) was very rude and cut me off regarding the situation. She said it’s posted on the websites, but no it’s not on the main page. In order to know that the pool and hot tub were not working you would have to look through the whole website. It should state that in the beginning.
We typically like to book with Embassy suites in Portland, which is always a great experience. But we will never again book for the tukwila location.
Another disappointment was typically we like to connect to our Netflix account for movies but apparently, at this location, that is not an option and instead would need to pay to watch some decent movies.
Had to pay for parking unlike the Portand location.
I’m only giving 2 stars due to the rooms being decent and clean and the free adult beverages included. Also cleaning stuff was friendly.
All in all, a waste of money and time for our “staycation” with the kiddos.

I stayed at this hotel for my son’s soccer tournament. Our group alone had at least 30 people, and with the other teams staying there, there were easily over 100 guests. We booked months in advance, so it was extremely frustrating to receive an email just two days before arrival saying the hotel was under construction.
When we arrived, we found out the entire hotel was operating with only one elevator. With that many families and teams constantly moving around, the wait times were ridiculous.
The pool was also not working, which was another big disappointment, especially with so many kids staying there. Basically, the only things available were sleeping in the room and eating breakfast, which was okay but nothing special.
The hotel offered a $15 food voucher per room as compensation, which honestly felt like a joke. Each room had at least two or three people, and $15 does not go far at all. If you bought something small like a $2 coffee, you lost the remaining balance. You could not even properly use the voucher toward a full meal. Considering we were paying $215 per night, this was very poor compensation.
To make things worse, the staff at the front desk and the bar were not friendly or welcoming. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish.
I will not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it, especially for large groups or team events.

I’d give zero stars if the system allowed it. The only upside was being near the soccer field for our tournament.
Staff were mostly rude and dismissive from check-in onward. Only one elevator worked, stairs were awkward (right by the kitchen), and the pool/hot tub were closed.
The room reeked of heavy mildew—like wet carpet and old socks. Opening the window did nothing.
Worst: jackhammering started at 8 a.m. every morning right above us, with no warning or alternatives offered. The building shook for hours.
For the price, it was a total rip-off—smelly, noisy, and poorly run. One manager even said he didn’t care since it was his last shift.
Never again. Avoid this place at all costs. 1/10.

The rooms are spacious, i was super shocked with how much space! i struggle with this review for very good reason! Its a huge hotel, 8 floors high, they have 3 elevators, only 1 worked!
We spent alot of time waiting for it in our 2 day stay! Normally im a stairs kinda person, unfortunately my dog is not, hes a little guy, hes getting old & can't see much, so stairs are not his best friend.
The stairs were confusing all together lol
Perk:
They offer a huge breakfast for those of you that like that kinda stuff, they will cook your omelet in front of you!
The have an in house restaurant! I didn't go try it, but its worth mentioning!
The beds are very comfortable, but also very small! My husband and i had to do separate beds the last night of our visit, we found the first night tough! Id say a bit larger than a twin, no bigger than a full!
The couch has a pull out bed, We'll ours was broken but im sure there are some that work.
The hot tub does not work, it is taped off with caution tape, the pool heater is broken so the pool is ice cold! Unless your into the whole polar plunge thing lol
Theres alot to unpack on this visit review! For what we spent, ill just have to chalk it up as vacation adventures lol we love doing things sporadically, this was a good opportunity to try something new, we did that, it was fun but good lessons learned!
I will add, i did feel comfortable and safe, that's a huge one! Unfortunately, if a fire broke out, i fear the mass panic of not knowing which stair-wells leads to safety could cause a bigger problem!
This was our second time staying here and we always enjoy Embassy suites for their good (by US hotel standards) breakfast and large rooms. The nightly happy hour with free drinks is an added bonus. Don’t like that they charge $25 per night for parking but that is the norm for the area. They are doing renovations (February, 2026) and it was pretty loud in our room starting around 8am. Would make it very hard to get work done from the room. Luckily we were only staying for a night. Overall, the room was clean, outdated, but still nice. We did get scents of weed coming into our room in the morning, it smelled like the chair in the living room had it as well. Would stay again, but it’s not the nicest of this chain.
