Warning to anyone considering this hotel: their valet damaged my BMW, and what followed revealed exactly what kind of operation this is. Calls ignored. Emails ignored. Their own manager watched the CCTV footage and buried it. Not a single attempt to make it right.
This is not incompetence. This is a deliberate strategy of silence and denial, hoping guests give up and go away.
I didn't. This is now a court matter.
Think very carefully before handing your keys to these people. And if something goes wrong, know that you will be completely alone.
Stayed for a couple of nights on a family trip. Nice view, accommodations were comfortable. Had a glance in the top level executive meeting rooms and platinum level, even better view there. Room service was very quick and well portioned. It's positioned in a decent enough location for exploring the city. Walked a few blocks down to Pike Place and was able to use a bus to get to the downtown space needle area. There's also a monorail that is more practical to get between the two downtown areas (if you know where it is). It is several very steep blocks downhill to get to the piers.
We didn't use their restaurant for any other meals, but there are multiple great breakfast stops in the area and a few bodegas and other restaurants worth walking to.

The location of this hotel is great; quick walk to the convention center, farther but still walkable to other key tourist attractions. Great views from higher floors, especially if you’re on the side facing the Space Needle.
Service was good, particularly at the breakfast buffet. Breakfast is pricey if you don’t have it included in your room, and it’s middling quality and variety.
The gym is not great, but above average for a hotel gym. Plenty of treadmills, a smattering of weight machines, and dumbbells up to 50 lbs.
We got upgraded to a junior suite, so plenty of space. Stayed here in the past in a non-suite room and still had plenty of space. The furnishings are pretty basic, verging on ugly even, minimal, and dated.
HOWEVER, we had an issue in the room with the smoke alarm. The sensor is directly outside the bathroom, and it got set off at night by the steam from the shower. Odd, because it wasn’t even a particularly steamy shower, no visible steams and no fogged mirror. So it was odd.

Great hotel. We truly loved the beds after coming from a long flight from Asia. They were so comfortable. Room was clean and spacious, and the elevators were all so high-tech, and the hotel was centrally located. Everything was perfect, except we left some newly bought shirts from Japan in the drawers under the mounted TV. We checked out at 9am today. When we got to our home in California, we remembered the new clothes in the drawers. Called front desk at around 3:30 pm. They said that our room (1654) was not yet occupied, and that Housekeeping said there were no items left in the room. We are 100 percent sure that we left the brand new shirts in the bottom drawer. It was very hard to get a hold of housekeeping all afternoon. I was on hold for a long time. They forwarded my call to Housekeeping Manager who never picked up. Front desk, Eric, and 2 other agents promised us Housekeeping would call us back. Never heard from them. A similar situation happened to us at a Best Western in Anaheim last year, and the process was seamless. Front desk found our down jackets in less than 5 minutes, and processed the mailing of our items that same day. I expected more from The Crown Plaza, and it sure is a let down that we haven't heard back from them. I really hope someone just misplaced out left behind items. If not, then this will not be a good look for Crown Plaza's security and reputation.

Love this place! From the very start Eric truly went above and beyond for us. He spoiled us in the best way and made sure we were fully taken care of from start to finish. He handled everything effortlessly and even adjusted things for us without batting an eye. His kindness and professionalism really stood out—we’re so grateful. Thank you, Eric!
Cam made our experience so much better. She was incredibly accommodating, sweet, and genuinely friendly, with a great sense of humor that made everything feel easy and welcoming. We really appreciated her kindness and the way she went out of her way to help us. Thank you, Cam!
Brooke was our server in the restaurant and she was absolutely wonderful. She was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. We enjoyed her service so much that we even came back the second night just because she was working. Thank you, Brooke, for making our experience so special!
I need to also mention Philip who was a pleasure to chat with and had many recommendations for our visit.
All the breakfast guys were great too! I wish I could remember their names….Jose and Martino? Started our days off beautifully!
You made our vacation so special!!
