  The only thing that put me off of this hotel was the fact that I had my do not disturb sign on the door for both days of our stay and the first morning someone knocked on the door very loudly twice without announcing who they were, I did not answer as I was in the bathroom. 5 minutes later two housekeeping people walked into my room looked at me didn't say a word and walked back out. The 2nd day while I was in my car smoking housekeeping went into our room and cleaned it...again with the do not disturb sign on the door....I had very personal things and open food out in the room and I find this to be very unprofessional that the do not disturb sign means nothing. Other than that the hotel was quiet, clean and there was no hiccups.

  I like this hotel, but not quite sure why they would enter my room with a do not disturb sign on the door ( guess the sign is broke) I travel 100% and have electronics issues in the past and only allow in if I take all with me. I even spoke to cleaning staff and told them I was good. Whom ever went in all they did was make the bed and remove a small amount of trash not even a full can nothing else. So what was the point in entering without my consent? Distrust is what this created. As this was the 2nd time in 2 weeks. All 3 of us are checking out and will drive out of Spokane as it wasn't just my room. Hampton inn doesn't do this! 😁

  Room was clean, staff was helpful and courteous. Fitness center is small but had enough equipment to get a good travel workout in. Nice options for breakfast.

  Loved this place until tonight. The rooms are always clean the staff is friendly and the place is always beautifully decorated for the holidays. One of my favorite places to stay until tonight when I used a public restroom and found a glue trap for bugs and mice. Those traps are very inhumane and should never be used. This place is next to a field so you will never get rid of all the mice. Torturing them with glue traps is not the way. Anyone that is curious what happens when a mouse is caught on a glue trap should look it up. It’s not fair to the poor animal. This place should be ashamed to be using this method. This picture is of the trap In the women’s public bathroom. Plenty of other ways to catch and release them or more humane ways to get rid of them.

  Rooms are recently updated and clean. Lobby and common spaces well kept and decorated for the seasons. Pool is open 24 hours and well kept. Cookies and milk served in the lobby in the evening is a great touch! Breakfast has a large variety of hot and cold options. Plus lots of creamer options and medium or dark roast coffee. Quiet location and not many other guests. Good parking for all sorts of vehicles. Not much to do in Ritzville but the gas stations, park, and a few restaurants are nearby. All staff, but front desk staff are great. Front desk staff are clearly not happy in their jobs. The person who checked us in didnt greet us and did the bare minimum to get us our room. Booking was also a nightmare. Their website kept kicking us to booking.com. We wanted a double queen, non pet floor room, and under special requests we asked to be put in a quieter part of the hotel if possible as we were travelling with an autistic child who can be loud sometimes. Even got confirmation they could accommodate our special request. We ended up with a pet room & double queen accessible room on our reservation. Ended up literally in the middle of the hotel. Sorry any neighbors who had to listen to all the stimming. The smoke detector flashes all night long so be aware if you're sensitive to light in your room. Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed in in a long time, except for the booking process and front desk staff.
