Unfortunately my stay was cut short almost as soon as I stepped in my room. This hotel has no A/C in the “winter” time (it’s October) so I had to move to a hotel that had did. The staff was very friendly which keeps the rating high. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable feeling while I waited and the shuttle driver even offered to bring me to my new hotel.

Very nice facility. Hasn't lost its charm since it was the Hanford House. Great employees, upgraded rooms, beautiful view of the Columbia River.

Do you enjoy clean rooms and personal safety? If so, then, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!! The room reeked of mildew, the carpets, and I use that word loosely, were sticky and stained, there was mold in the bathroom, flies buzzed in our ears while we slept, the AC was pathetic, and the water pressure was even more pathetic. The worst offense, an employee entering my room without a reason well before check out and while the DND sign was up. I was here for Ironman and will never stay here again. The violation of my personal safety and belongings (my bike!!!) is inexcusable. They did offer me a $50 credit for the, ahemm, ‘inconvenience.’ (Insert eye roll emoji here.) 100% do not recommend and will never be back.

Most accurate rating close to 3.5. We stayed during a race weekend which likely meant we paid more, but I would say the price was not worth the room/amenities. The hotel seemed very clean. The rooms are quite big and the courtyard on the back side is nice, as is the access to the walking path along the river. We were grateful to be facing the courtyard rather than the parking lot. However, the carpet in our room was damp/sticky for nearly the entire first day we were there which likely was due to cleaning/heat - this was notably off putting. Also, the walls are thin, so you can hear a good amount of noise from the people next to you and above you (if you’re on the first floor). The pool and hot tub seemed fine but we did not use them. The gym was one of the biggest hotel gyms we’ve seen, with pretty nice equipment.
I do not think this hotel (experience) is worth $200+ per night.
