  My favourite Best Western and stop on my way home to Canada from a winter stay in Arizona. Lake front rooms all have a deck or patio overlooking the lake and evening sunset. It’s a winner for location! The rooms and service are great too. They have a wonderful breakfast, which is included with the room. This is better than the usual free breakfast- made to order omelettes (no powdered plastic eggs at this buffet). I always make sure to bring a tip for the extra special service. There is also a popular restaurant/bar with the same stunning lake view so there are no worries as to where to get dinner and drinks after your long day of travels.

  Very disappointing stay and they lied to us. I called ahead to confirm they had pet free rooms due to our child’s pet dander allergies and was told pets weren’t allowed on the 3rd floor. When we arrived, we were told pets are allowed in any room and we couldn’t get a refund. Our child started itching immediately, and we ended up sleeping in our SUV in the cold. The “river view” room was actually a freeway view with constant LOUD truck noise. The room was tiny, the bathroom even smaller, and there was an odd empty space where it looked like a couch had been removed. They were also so gracious as to leave us an empty hand soap container by the sink. Overall, a miserable start to our vacation. We won’t be staying here again.
